Im glad you're pleased with it m8 .....yea the cruise control ...be careful if you use it to stick to the speed limits cos if you cruise down a steepish hill doing 30 it doesnt stay at 30 and you end up with 3 points like me mate. :D Oh and the wipers .... if you select them to continuous wipe, when you stop they go onto intermittent until you pull away ...dork here thought there was a problem.... :lol: Anything else you need to know give us a shout mate. Bleeno,this thing about the wipers going intermittent when you stop is it on all mk2s or just on the later models?as mine doesn't seem to do this :lol:

Sounds like you got a cracking deal there mate,bought mine for 9250 9mths ago with 44k on the clock but it's 2001 ,have had a grand back off them for cambelt and aircon repairs though, what colour is it and any extra extras if you know what i mean :46:

Well we had a result tonight, a female member (whose husband has already been barred from the club for asking the wrong type of questions) was accused of swearing at a committee member and was told there were numerous witnesses to verify this, tonight she had to go and give her side of the story, when told by the club president that he had 5 witnesses to the event she told him to bring them forward but he couldn't, so they asked her to draw a line under the matter , she agreed to this if the so called witnesses and committee men who accused her were reprimanded :( not likely ,but as i said good will come out on top :16: :16:

Women are allowed into the club but they can only be members if there husband/partner is alive,they have been allowed in the snooker room in the last 5 yrs but cannot play :16: bloody pathetic, i would imagine that if women were allowed to play a bigger role the club would benefit from it, i would go as far as to say they would run it much better than the men

The part i believe is used to stop a hose from chaffing against other parts in the engine bay ,which hose i have no idea ,i will have a look tomorrow when i get a chance, football then rugby then clean and wash the car :lol:

I'll keep you informed mo4,it's just a problem with the people elected trying to get the club run by a family click and there are a few of us doing our utmost to stop this , but as they have a closed shop so to speak and they are making up allegations against people with so called witnesses to back them up it is difficult but the more they carry on then the more determined we will become :lol: Good always comes out on top :lol:

Morning people, just after some advice/info if possible , i know there are some very clever peeps out there :( here goes i am in dispute at my local working mans club which is ciu affiliated, i have asked to see the minutes of meetings and debates that have taken place but have been told "freedom of info act "does not apply as it is a private club ,does anyone know if this so?

if it's seized then towing it and putting it in gear will do more harm than good , might knacker the g/box and that will just cost you loads more :wacko:

Although the oil level is correct it still maybe the engine knackered because unfortunately it sounds like it could be the oil pump that has failed,let's hope not though :wacko:

If its got oil in the water then i suggest it is coming from the undrtray where water will gather and any slight oil leak will drip ,i do recall you saying they (fraud) spotted an oil leak and repaired it (rocker gasket ) then there is your oil :huh: stop flapping and enjoy the drive

Every car fitted with aircon does it not just ford :huh: ,she'll be glad of it with all this global warming :)

If you are not losing fluid from the header tank then don't worry about it, it's as the man says the aircon, pipes develop condensation on them when aircon/climate control is on ;) after 3 days and reversing it could be water trapped in the engine undertray ,like i said if you are not losing water from anywhere stop panicing mr mannering :16:

Starts fine and will pull fine after 20/30 secs just seems that initial pull away is not quite right or is it just that like that anyway

When i start up the engine seems to hold back for say the first 20/30 seconds then all is 0k, have checked other posts for possible maf problems but the symptoms don't really match anything maf related any ideas people? :16:

Sounds like you have found the problem with copper o ring missing, take it back and get them muppets to do it and while your there try and get a tank full of diesel of them for fuel lost and the inconvenience :lol: ;)
