Does your Gal have rear aircon ,and what spec is it? as for the tuning chip the general consensus on here is they can cause problems as they trick the ecu in some way as to deliver more fuel (i think thats what it is ) the better but more expensive way is to get the ecu remapped ,personally i,m happy with my 115 horses :lol: as regards to vw gear it is more vw than ford as the Galaxy ,sharan and alhambra all used to come down the same production line ,in portugal i think

Try running the aircon on recirc after a few minutes and it should get colder, my mate has just bought a mondeo mk 2 and the aircon worked ok and he said it didn't seem as cold as my climate did, had a mess around with it the oyher day and put the aircon on normal then recirc and there was a marked improvement of the chill factor :rolleyes:

possibly be a leak from the auxilary heater

no it wont! it's a recirc unit, no access to outside air I stand corrected, i take it i was correct about the aircon then :16:

That is not for aircon/climate control , that is an additional heater for the rear passengers in the winter time, rear aircon has vents located in the roof headlining and looking at your model it will not have rear aircon fitted :16: it will only blow in air from outside ,anyway if your driving your alright jack!

Read somewhere on here about someone having overheating problems and went through a lot of processes similar to yours, in the end he found the problem was a hose collapsing in on itself at normal temp and blocking the flow of water , worth a look :16: hope all works out for you

I would have a good look through yellow pages or google ,that's your best bet and good luck :)

Is it blowing cold? mine flashes but works fine, it migt need resetting with vagcom

Going to service mates mondeo for him was going to change the glow plugs as well ,just wondeing if anyone has changed them before anfd if so are there any downsides to changing these or are they a piece of urine? any advice greatly recieved B)

Mo4 does this unit fit straight into location or do you need any extra brackets ? thanks, what colour do you have?
