I had some trouble a few days back on the 2.3 manual - mark 1, driving along in harpenden as one does .. at saturday village speeds.. I hear weird noises coming from the engine.. its performing fine.. all seems good but the noise is annoying.. so I pulled over and called the AA, they towed me to my mechanic saying I should get him to look at it as he thinks it could be a tensioner or something... got it to my "trusty" mechanic.. he said it was some tensioner that hooks in to the ribbed belt that goes around the alternator.. and other stuff.. like the ac hoodjama... and maybe I heard him say water pump in there as well.. anyway I said sort it out please.. he said the parts were only available from the stealers and they cost buxdeluxe.. in the end I paid

I would have to say- excellent drive, great car, great efficiency, but SERIOUSLY poor seats. The cabin is tremendously spacious, takes a bit of getting used to whilst parking.. but otherwise grrrreeat. but dont take the comfort factor too lightly, after driving my mates 54 plate for 2 days my back was hurting.. its a nice car for a lass tbh...
