I think I have read that there is a fuel metering pump under the car that supplies diesel to the aux heater. I'm sure someone else on the forum can explain better.
Sounds like the auxilliary drive belt and the associated tensioner. The tensioner is known to fail, not common to just Galaxy's, but it is advised to change the belt and tensioner at the same time.
Maybe you need to go on a diet  I have never heard of this before, you may be able to source them from a breakers yard or take a deep breath and try the dealers.
Very strange, however, strange things happen when the door/tailgate wiring is cracked or broken. I would check all the wiring to each door and the tailgate and repair if required.
Are you thinking of using VAG-COM? The 2.3 petrol engine is a Ford unit and VAG-COM won't talk to it. Someone on the forum will give you more advice I'm sure.
Don't forget to release the excess brake fluid through the bleed nipple and not back into the system. This has been known to damage the ABS and master cylinder.
Maybe because the bonnet switch was not activated then the alarm was not set and this is why it never went off. I know my Galaxy won't even lock if one of the doors or boot is slightly open.
The A/C will not operate below 5C. The only way I can think of testing it is by parking the car in a warm garage overnight and then see if you can hear the A/C kick in.
I recently had to send my TomTom Sat Nav away for repair. I then got random "Alternator Workshop" messages popping up and going away. I have now reinstalled my repaired TomTom and would you believe the messages have stopped. Crazy or what.............................................
Hi everyone. I'm after the compartment that houses the CD changer in the back off side of the car. It's a bit like a box with a lid on it. My grandson has managed to break all the hinges so the only fix is to replace it. Thanks in anticipation
When I turn the steering on full left lock I get a rubbing sound that sounds like a front tyre rubbing on something. I have looked under the car and under the wheel arches but cannot find any evidence of somthing rubbing. I do not get any sounds on full right lock or when I reverse on full left lock. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance for any input.
My local tyre depot always clean the rims and valve seatings before they fit the tyres, they do this on all alloys not just Galaxy ones. By the way what is the load rating of the tyres fitted? They should be Extra Load or Reinforced.
