Further to your less than complimentary remark when you saw the standard alloys on my C-Max I've now replaced them with from ones from a Zetec S-Max and will post some pics. when I get a chance to clean the car. :( Andy. What id like to know..is how the local petrol station to me (Total) can whack up its prices whenever it wants to.....on Thursday, unleaded was 93.9 a litre.. on Friday it was 95.9 a litre..Yesterday it was 96.9 a litre...Yet the nearest Shell has stayed at 92.9 a litre . Asda is card only so i no longer fill up there...Tesco the queues are so long i dont even bother trying anymore..So generally i nip into town and visit the Shell forecourt.

Ahh but is that the first reading or average?? In the 1.9TDi i had.....on the second reading(average not the first where it shows what you are actually doing)..i had 52/55 mpg. why the heck would you do 45/50 mph on an a motorway!!...dangerously slow..unless you crawl behind a huge lumbering truck or tractor. Unless it was the speed limit at that time.......if it was..anyone can reach that mpg at those speeds. :rolleyes: going too slow is just as dangerous as going to fast.
