Doubt me all you like gio..i know what i did and no i didnt always go on the trip computer and i see no need to justify myself to you or anyone else for that matter in what i could achieve in the Gal....And no i didnt cruise at a constant speed and so what if i took a pic of the trip computer.I spent a long time working out the optimum speed for the highest miles per gallon and the diesel gal can quite happily do over 53mpg either by manualy working it out or via the trip computer.My ego doesnt need strokeing by putting up facts and figures....i know what i did and i really dont give a toss if you believe me or not.The fact i know is enough for me. Yes i used the trip computer and used what it said against what i worked out in regards to miles and fuel used.I would fill her up when she was bottom of the red..then reset the milage indictor..then i would work it out against the trip computer and see how the results panned out.

Did you take a warranty out with them??

Very true gregers..has been covered before..also if you ignore them they may flood you with email..they did me and also called me several times lowering the quote each time they called.

well i could average 53mpg in my diesel gal..took pics on my phone aswell.it is easy to achieve and i spent a lot of time finding the optimum speed for high mpg...and no it wasnt crawling along the motorway or hiding behind an arctic..those who know how i drive would vouch for that.

Now ive been pondering over all this..yep the probs sorted, but why did it happen??..why did the errors i get when it would disconnect point to a virus or something? and why would i have pages freezing on me and not shutting down in task manager?..Surely that couldnt have been modem related could it?

Well peeps...I will be going on the Saturday, after getting 8 tickets through i have 2 spare if anyone wants them as im only taking my two eldest with me to this so only need 4.Just looking on their website, all the attractions are free including the funfair for the kids.Looks mighty impressive!
