  1. Ford only offered to supply the whole linkage assy.
  2. Thanks for the feedback. I've been thinking it was a broken pipe, like an a/c pipe clip busted or something. Since most of the roads in the UK are crap the noise is there almost all the time! Is the drop link also known as a connecting link that attaches to the stabaliser bar? I'm looking on my TIS Looks like a straight forward job. Did you DIY chromedome?
  3. What does the sound of worn drop links sound like? I've got a rattle/knock that I can't find on mine and it's driving my wacko!
  4. Pressures for mine are on a label on the inside of the filler cap - 33front 30 rear for normal loads.
  5. Before they changed the makeup of the pads, to remove asbestos, I got nearly 90,000 from a set of disks on the front - now I'm lucky to get 50,000. Yours does seem high though.
  6. Sorry to disagree with the other replies, but all I did was: (I have the tilt & rake steering wheel) set steering wheel to max out and down, remove the 2 screws at the top of the oval shroud; you need to tease the bottom of the shroud up to clear 2 retaining lugs while removing the shroud from the dash; Note: remove the metal clip that is pushed on the dash, else you will scratch the front lens on the cluster!; the cluster is then held with 2 screws in each upper corner; the cluster is removed by tilting it forward ( the bottom of it sits in 2 plastic runners); unclip 3 multiplugs; remove from dash from one side of the steering wheel in a tilt and one corner movement. Why do you need to remove the cluster?
  7. Can't help with answers to your questions, sorry. But I was wondering what affect these bad sensors had on the running of the engine?
  8. Read this thread for instuctions http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=4813
  9. One thing you could do is check for sparks at the plugs while you crank. If you get spark I would not think it's immobilised.
  10. Truth is I never looked at it that close! Yea, give me 2 days and I'll pop it right out for ya! Don't standby!!
  11. I guess you are right, it must be the restister pack. It looked different to the diagram on the TIS. I stand corrected.
  12. What I don't understand is, doesn't the work carried out so far by your local Ford dealer make them libale for the cost of the non-repairs carried out so far, and don't they have an obligation to fix your problem? Why bail out and get someone else involved, and in the process potentially give Ford a get out clause?
  13. Mike, the red block is nothing to do with the blower pack. Restister pack replacement diag from TIS is shown here http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/i...indpost&p=57227 click on Doc1 attachment
