Hi Mark. I have the same noise I think. I've tried to 'wobble' the car in a straight line to get it to do it to order, but I can't. It sounds a bit like the production plant left a socket under the dash somewhere! I'm relecutant to start taking things apart to find it. I thought maybe I'd get the wife top put her head between my legs to she if she can locate it, the noise that is! But may get arrested...Do you have IVDC/CCD (I do) could it be something to do with that??

Hi guys, any news/update on this issue? I think I have the same noise, not very loud and I can't get it to do it at will, but it seems to be related to pulling away or braking, almost as though some thing is in the door pocket rolling around...

Na, I'm running it in! It's not loose yet. There was Friday traffic each end. I varried the speed from 55 to 85.

Well my new motor seems to be enjoying an extended Christmas holiday! Dealer says his system still shows it as in transit, due 12 Jan. Will no doubt be further paperwork delays because I've asked the dealer to transfer my cherished number. Still, sold my MkI last week! Live in hope...

Lucky boy Jed, my 'to dealer date' is showing as 12th Jan 2008! That will at least allow me time to transfer my number plate. Jed, can we look forward to your review of the new beast?

Have you been under the car to look for yourself yet? On the mk1 and 2's a similar problem existed regarding the bolt holding the engine stabiliser bar - maybe the mk3 has the same arrangement? That issue with the EPB sounds serious, how do you get it to clear?

Reason you don't see a puddle at the front is that it's caught by the undershield. If you have dual you'll see a puddle just behind the near side rear wheel.

I finally got a build date - 8th Dec for early Jan delivery (similar to Jed). Lets hope they build them before the Christmas party Jed!! Same car, Ghia X. Jed, did you resolve your price issues with your dealer? I spoke to my dealer and he assured me there would be no price change, in fact he said they had a price guarantee that would pass on any (unlikely) price reductions.

Over 11 weeks now and still no sign of a build date, let a lone delivery :blink: This better be worth the wait!

Humm, that must include me as well then - I even wondered if the Convers was worth the money, let alone further delay! I heard at one time that the solar reflect screens were on delay?? I wonder what other delays my other options will provide: Ghia X pack, IVDC/CCD, Bluetooth Adv, EPB, Climate front seats, Convers+, Power folding mirrors, Retractable tow bar, Solar reflect screen, Bi-Zenons The barstewards better not back slide on the price! Can they do that? Have you not entered into a contract and secured the price with a deposit?

I read somewhere that if you put a couple of layers of clingfilm over the ball joint(s) before clipping the cable end back, it will stay on...just what I heard.
