Hi Fitted the Eibach Pro Lowering Kit last weekend, heres some pics..they were taken on my fone on a low setting so not that good but I'll get some more on and some close ups of the front/back before and after.... I am very pleased with the result. looks and handles better with no real loss of ride comfort Not too bad to fit either!

surely the easiest (and cheapest!) way is to start the car and get off your backside and look for smoke? My point exactly Sanj...but also...don't fret about it...we all stress about the aircon in summer and the aux heater in winter!! Save the strees for the aircon!!! Have a stress free winter!! -
Right then....the Nokians have been on for over a week/500+ miles in varying driving conditions and overall I am very impressed vs the Dunlop 2020's that were fitted for 8k+. Traction - better, grip in wet - MUCH better, cornering - vastly improved, road noise - not silent but 50% better than the dunlops. All in all a much more confident driving experience especially when damp/wet. I'll admit that alot of the improvement will be down to the lower profile/slightly wider track of the Nokian's but everything taken into consideration I feel happier taking the tiddlers out in the Nokian shod Gal than the Dunlop/Continental one..... Also....knockers of the 'budget brands' do some research...you'll be amazed at who the 'parents' of these 'lesser known brands' are.....P*****i's made in finland..NEVER!!

The easiest way to test if its working is wait til the temp gets below 10c, start the car, after a couple of minutes turn the car off and you'll here the sound of a jet engine coming from below the nearside rear door! If the thing isn't firing up you will get plumes of white smoke from the same area, if it doesn't work at all. don't worry it just takes about 10 minutes longer for your car to hit operating temp! -
Not much luck here...just changed the batteries just in case...still no joy! I was in the dealers the other day and asked them about cutting/programming the key to the immobiliser and here is what they said.....hope you are sitting down!!! "

Well spotted Gooner!! Couldn't find the 'finished' pics so this was a 'half way through first power on' pic!! It all fits perfectly, sat nav flush, cc bezel etc etc...apart from the pill box gps antenna you wouldn't know it wasn't fitted at the factory (fooled the dealers :) ) The top two torx screws are a bit of a pig to get at...you can try and take them out but I found it best to have them open about 50mm to get them out then swap the cupholders over when the whole assy is out.. if you want any more tips/info just ask... Could you post a picture by any chance as I've got a motorised LCD headunit to go in there and I wouldn't mind installing my DVD player in there too. Here u go muffking..... Bottom pic is of my motor...if you've got this type of switch you do not need to change them... Part number is F1319217 (BEZEL ASSY) , six torx screws, swap over the cup holders and away you go... -
Dave, get the spare ready and then pull the 'screw' out...I had one which I left in til I got to the tyre place, they jacked it up, took the wheel off then pulled 1/2 a csrew out that had just wedged into the tread! Put the wheel back on and off I went relieved!! fingers crossed......
