The mind bogles Im sure someone will shoot me down in flames when i say this but i thought it was reduced from 60k to 40k on later models as there was concern it was tooooo long. Im probably wrong as i normally am
I had a feeling you were gonna say that. The new key is just sitting in the kitchen drawer which is great until i loose the working one. Looks like ill have to bite the bullet and pop off to the dealer then. Donations this way please
Hi and welcome to the mad house. Just so you all know, bleenos giraffe is in fact his pet that he bottle fed from a very young age after its mother was killed in a tragic accident with a low bridge.
Sorry but been there done that You can tell by pulling the handle out slowly there is hardly any tension there to spring it back in again. Its not a major problem as long as it doesnt get any worse Ade.
For some strange reason the two rear outside door handles have lost their springyness (nice word) In other words when you open the door from the outside the handle doesnt spring back in very well. Sometimes when the kids yank it open as they do you even have to push it back in. Is there any adjustment on them or do i have to replace a spring or something. Its only the rear doors as the fronts are fine Any ideas or thoughts folks Adrian.
Its true what you are saying about parts dept etc but at the end of the day he only wanted a bulb or two. So what happens if a car they are selling has a blown bulb, do they just grow up and eccept it or do the fit a new one that they HAVE in stock
Bloody unbelievable eh. I would write a stinking letter to their top man explaining what has happened and due to that they will loose any service work that was due. The more i hear about main dealers the more im glad i never go near them.
Ive never been in a position to buy a new car so maybe someone could answer a simple question for me. Do you always have to wait for the car to arrive and if so how long. I just cannot believe that you have to wait for months on end for the car to arrive I must admit that i havnt got much patience and if a cant have it straight away or before i dont want it but i think (Correction i know) i would tell Ford to shove the car and go looking for a nearly new second hand one or failing that look for another make of vehicle
Yup i agree with the above comments about the oil going black quickly. It might be worth checking that they used the correct oil though. The engine you have only likes one sort of oil. 505.01 so if they can prove that is what they used then dont worry about it being black.
