  1. Yup ill second that I used to have 18"alloys with a 35 off set and your right they did stick out too far on the front so i sold them.
  2. Very good, very good.
  3. My wife didnt feel anything. Buyt then again shes used to the bed rocking and the earth moving at least three times every night so no wonder she didnt wake up
  4. Just a hunch and i may be wrong but 245 and a 50mm drop may be pushing it a bit. Hope not as it would look great and id love to see some photos if you go ahead with it.
  5. Yeh its not pink
  6. Use ONLY 505.01 oil in your PD motor Hit the search button as there are a ton of posts on this subject
  7. There was a mileage change for the belt at some point but cant remember when that was I had the exact same thing as you with my Alhambra. It had only done 30,000 mile but was four years old so i had it changed just to be on the safe side

  10. Hi Gav and welcome fellow postman Ive also been a postie for just over three years now and to be honest i enjoy the job. Im not sure ill still be saying that in about 12 months time when a lot of the changes are in place but you never know. About six months ago i bought down my hours to 28 a week to enable me to do both school runs each day so that wifey can earn the money which works well for us. Adrian.
  11. 10 years. Blimey The only thing ive kept for that lengh of time is the wife and even then i think i should have part exed her years ago for a newer sportier model, perferably a topless model with BIG wheels OH welcome also
  12. Go back and demand some English manuals for it. If no joy write a stinking letter to someone high up. I had to do this a few years ago to get some manuals for a Mondeo. After months of trying with no luck they were posted to me in days after the letter.
  13. You are a hard woman :D
  14. Maz your a darling, i changed the resolution and all is fine now for this blind git :o Havnt made my mind up yet about the wireless keyboard . Ive noticed on a couple of occasions it has missed a letter or two out whilst typing so will see how it goes Adrian.
  15. Hmmm, a Ghia of that vintage should have cruise fitted i would have thought. As to whether it is working or not is another question
  16. I have tried that but it doesnt seem to make any difference. Starting to get used to it a bit now tho
  17. Yet again i had my pc go kaput last week. JUST over 12 months old it decided it wasnt going to play ball anymore. So had the dilema as to whether i pay to have it fixed or to get a new one. To be honest i was never very pleased with it. The cooling fan was very noisy and it was a bit tempermental at the best of times So now have a nice new HP with 19" widescreen monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse and more memory etc than i will ever need. Not sure if its the widescreen or not but the text is quite small to read. Ive messed around with it in the page settings but it seems to make little difference so i guess ill have to pop off the specsavers instead :o
  18. If its not ticking then i would say its kaput As i said in an earlier post super glue stuck mine and that was on a MkII but maybe i was just lucky.
  19. Oi oo u calin fik. i av u no im cleva
  20. Yeah i used to have a house like that also
  21. Yup ill second that. Id start by checking the drop links first as easy and cheap to replace.
  22. Ok folks, thanks for the replies. Will have a look on the weekend. It hasnt done it for a couple of days so maybe ive frightened it by posting on here  Keep those ideas coming. Adrian.
  23. But you do that everwhere/anywhere ;)
  24. 31. Of course i dont fancy your younger sister.
  25. Ah yes a good trip down memory lane there. Whats it going to be like in the future ? My dad says to me "in the good old days" as did his father and so on. Do things move along much faster nowadays or does it just seem like it ? My dad looks at my two little ones (5 & 7) and thinks about the society they are growing up in and you can watch him filling up with emotion and worry but would his grandad have done the same? When i was a kid and could do all the things mentioned in the above post did my mum and dad look at me and feel sorry because it wasnt THEIR good old days. I really dont know if it is as bad as it it seems because the young ones dont know any different but i think i would rather have my youth than the one my kids have in front of them. When you here of all the sickos on the news nearly every day i have even thought what sort of world have i brought my children into. There not many things in this life that worry me too much but this is one of them. Thats whet you get for having kids i guess Adrian.
