  3. Tooooooo sodin much
  4. I dont fill the Bamma right up with fuel very often due to the price of the bloody stuff but im going to be doing a lot of miles on the weekend so decided i may as well brim the tank. BLOODY HELL I managed to squeeze nearly
  5. Well wouldnt you just love to ;) I want to be her saddle ;)
  6. Nice one ;)
  7. I had the belt changed on my 115 Alhambra a few months ago. It had only done 30,000 mls but was four years old so didnt want to take the chance.
  8. Your not having a good time with your Gal are you. I cant help much with the other things but thw wheels are well known for corrosion. As you said water gets under the surface. Have a look at other Gals with the Ghia wheels and most of them will have the same problem.
  9. When i bought the Bamma tha AC was dead so they re gassed it for me but still didnt fix it. So they then changed the condensor but still no good so also changed the compressor which fixed the problem. God know what it would have cost if i had to pay for it.
  10. Well i think the MKIII looks good and if the bank manager (wife) would let me id buy one tomorrow. Ok id have to wait 6 months to get it but thats another story so in the mean time ill make do with the Bamma.
  11. Fetch yer lead Fido, were going for a walk

  13. I think ive posted this before but here goes. On both my old Galaxy and my current Alhambra i have covered the two inner sensors with black insulation tape and it works fine. It took the Alhambra a couple of days to get used to the idea but all is fine now with the tow bar, electric socket and the cycle rack mount which is also bolted to the tow bar. The two outer sensors work fine on thier own for parking also.
  14. If the light is flashing then it looks like a sensor is bust. Listen very close to each one to see if you can hear it ticking. Do a search as loads and loads of posts on hear about them.
  15. I managed to change mine through the hatch in the wheel arch but you will need smallish hands. I could touch the bulb holder but not enough to turn the damm thing so i got a piece of wood about 6" long that fitted into the end of the bulb holder and it made the job easy. Turn the steering to full lock on both side to give a bit more room.
  16. Weve just got back from a fantastic week in sunny Gran Canaria. The weather was great, the beer was cold, the food was yummy, but for some reason i love to get back home. Stepped off the plane in Bristol last night at 23.00 hrs in the rain and the wind but was glad to be back. I think i must be going mad.
  17. Nice one Baz. Very interesting reading.
  18. I thought that a dealer had to give a minimum 3 month warranty unless advertised as sold as seen.
  19. If you must take photos of your 8" crack there are web sites for that sort of thing. Or so they tell me
  20. I see you got the bonnet open then Maz.
  21. Most things will We only have two kids so dont really need all that space but i would also miss it. Even if its just to take a load of crap to the tip the space is so usefull
  22. Why not have a look here for some advice http://www.whattowcar.com/ Another option why dont you look at the possibility of having your car chipped. I know there are loads of companys that do it nowadays and it will improve the power and the torque and it will be a lot cheaper than changing the car.
  23. oooh aiddy such a cutting reply ! did you get an adult to help with the naughty word or was it all your own work? No no it was all my own work. Most of which ive learnt from reading YOUR cutting replies to post put on here by other people. Quite a good example is the original post about a chaps car snaking whilst towing his caravan, not what people thought about caravans. Never mind though i think most people know what to expect now as theyve seen it that often.
  24. Well i love caravaning and the best bit of all is seeing all the non caravan twats  getting all hot under the collar with thier blood pressure through the roof :D because they have to wait an extra 20 seconds. Its at times like that i make sure i slow it down another 10mph Hmmm i think its worth having a caravan just for that
  25. Had a fine sprinkling this morning but was soon gone once the sun came out.
