had to have mine changed last week, the rear box had rotted off and the pipe was perished, mine to had its mot done last month as well, with no mention of the state of it at all. anyways phoned up for a few quotes and they ranged from national tyres at 300 quid plus, down to 160 quid all in.now this was for the centre box/pipe/rear box. well i phoned up ATS who quoted the parts seperatly:blink: and the chap there assumed they were the cheapest,er no i informed them and over the phone he matched my cheapest quote,GREAT the cheapest was only warrented for 2 years and ATS gave 3 years. ring round and play them off against one another;)

A/c Compressor Clutch Pulley
gregers replied to callumc's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
i had my clutch replaced whilst insitu,i obtained a doner compressor and we used the bits from that, only because on mine the clutch plate had worked itself loose and the centre hole became elongated and fell off. -

gregers replied to chucks4x4's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
before you go down this route, have you tried adjusting the glass?i know when i replaced my sunroof,i canibilized 2 to make 1 work i had to do a lot of adjustments to get it to shut and compress the rubber correctly. -
iirc when mine went on my old 2 ltr,it went into an independant garage and they done it,ok it was under warrenty, but the chap who sold me the car said it wasnt a great deal od dosh, try a factors and see if they stock it,maybe some1 like gsf?.

Blank Key/spare Key
gregers replied to paulzzippy's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
yes what you have posted is correct, but that only programs the key to the central locking,IT does not program it to the pats system, this requires the correct software/computer that mobile locksmiths may have or its a dealer visit. as said loads of info on the subject on the forum. -
Blank Key/spare Key
gregers replied to paulzzippy's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
is the key you have a remote? if so then does it work as it should?and start the car? then make sure the new remote has the same frequency as your current 1. i got 1 from ebay and got the new horseshoe blank from there aswell and got it cut at my local timpsons. thats the easy part taken care of......... now you have to get the thing programed to the pats system of the car,and this is where it will cost you. wether its having it cloned or reprogramed it could cost you up to -
before you replace the switch, check for any frayed/broken wires in the door gaitor, known problem.do all your windows work using global closing/opening?

Cl And Ew Help Please
gregers replied to grayST24's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
you can get repair lock kits on ebay. right now for the electric problem, depending on year of manufacture. you may have a flooded passenger footwell, common problem where the rear washer pipe comes apart, repair instructions are in the faqs. or the wires in the rubber door gaiter have frayed/broken,again problem listed in the faqs.
