if you can see the other end then you might be able to clamp an in line conector on the end,add a piece of wire and do the same to the other end and wrap all in insulation tape?

hi do a search on roll restrictor been coverd many times b4 also maybe an idea(if you havnt already)take it to fords to see if it has missed any recals,when i had mine and checked they ended up replacing the master cylinder f.o.c

cant remember.....but if i was in the upstairs bedroom then it got the satilites no problem went out side to the car nothing,drive down the road restarted everything fine drove a few miles then lost em again very frustrating,but hey certain parts of the town and you wont recieve a signal on your mobile either.

ogben.....in my area (eastbourne)my pda kept losing the satilites,and it was a pain in the jacksey having to set it up all the time,lovley bit of kit though just to technical for me,so hence why i bought an idiot proof sat nav,turn on and away you go,i sold my xda on e-bay with all the kit so i cant help you with the holder im afraid. vr6(that reminds me of someone :lol: )thanx ive already got that info regards gregers
