load cd map of europe into your comp insert memory card into your card reader,go through the options and when it comes to where to put map. I.E SATNAV OR MEMORY CARD choose memory card,this is basically what ive just done with my tomtom,i would imagine it to be pretty similar? regards gregers

cheers peeps but have since found out that my version (nav 3)of tom tom you cannot change the voices thanx anyway. dave thanx ive already found that 1 and it is very good,along with www.xda-developers.com which was also kindly given to me from this forum. regards gregers

i think that does apply to the newer diesels,when i parked on a steep camber of a road in my zafira( the tank was low )the engine cut out,so i phoned a friend who came and put 5lts in and managed to get it started after about 10mins,the crap that blew out of the exhaust means i wont be getting it that low again.

and how do i find the required directory?im new to the pda experiance,im getting fed up listening to the woman speaking(feels like im at home) :rolleyes: any help greatfully recieved regards gregers

ive now got hold of tomtom 3(original of off ebay)(YES I KNOW :rolleyes: ) for my xda2s,seems to work very well but any ideas on how i can change the voices,ive been given some which where downloaded of off the net but dont know how to install them any help? regards gregers

you dont even need to start the engine,when mine went on my gal you could move the engine yourself by grabbing the pipes,but you certainly dont want to driving it to much coz you could end up damaging the cat(so i was told).

try to clean the contacts of the panel and unit with meths or alcohol,also the copper(brass)contacts might not be connecting you might have to gently bend them. other then that no idea. regards gregers

im pissed off with ebay at the mo(well pay pal)theve put a temporay hold on my account pending an investigation saying i might have unortherised funds,i sold something,they paid by pay pal over a month ago, any idea what happens now?where do i stand?ive tried emailing the seller (i have his address and name)but he hasnt got back to me yet(theres a surprise).

that was my thinking mm iirc i had to have a new key cut,but had to have a new red key cut first then a spare,lucky for me the dealer paid but it was
