1 question WHY?

hi can anyone tell me how i can load the saftey camera info into my sat nav,have been given (which i think)is the right info,but cant seem to get it to load? the info consists of bitmap images and something called CSV FILES have loaded them all onto my sd memory card and nothing happened. what am i doing wrong? as usual any help on these matters is greatly accepted merriest regards gregers :lol:

iirc there isnt much difference between the 2 apart from being able to network(what ever that means)with xp pro,plus a few more things no doubt,but really wouldnt cocern you or your daughter. when you had major probs with your computer how did you manage to get it sorted out without your windows disk? does the laptop go on line?coz if not i see no reason why you cant load your version onto hers, if you have the friday ad up at your neck of the woods look under computers theres usually someone selling the disks fairly cheaply.

well it seems to have a repair install if you scroll down,so cant see why it cant help somethings better then sod all :( ok,go to windows update and type in boot disk it then brings up a whole list of things you might be able to try.

nice 1 baz,hope you got it for a good price with those faults,and i hope they dont cost you too much dosh to sort out m8.

you might be able to make a start up disk off of your own computer,then put it into the laptop and see what happens. orif you have time (i do believe you have a cd copyer now)make a complete copy of your machine and then reload onto the laptop. but make sure in future you have at least a copy so if this happens again you can get yourself out of the mess shes put you in(and keep it in a safe place).
