500 quid max,if the aircon has gone tits up it will probably cost an arm and leg and foot to get it repaired(unless YOU KNOW its a cheap fix),things that dont work could be the control box under the passenger seat that has got drenched because of the rear washer pipe has come apart or that its got blocked scuttles?

totally agree with the above comments,when you phone them up tell them you will be contacting the trade and standards peeps about the way they have tried to pull the wool over your eyes in the hope your just disappear into the sunset.

thanx insider,no i was just going by the rev counter,what made me wonder i was reading a post and they said theres is 600 rpm thought mine was a bit high,but youve put my mind at ease saying its 900.cheers.

my car idles at approx 950rpm is this the norm on a tdi?cheers in advance.
