AH BLESS,size of them feet looks like your going to have a big boy on your hands,we adopted a white gsd about 11 years ago(wadar,s worthing and district animal rescue) when my eldest was 18mths old and bless her shes still going strong( ;) fingers crossed)we were told she was approx the same age as my boy,my dog had 3 past owners in her first 18mths and touch wood she has been a complete diamond with my 3 boys,would defo adopt again when the time comes.leave a light on for him and maybe a radio so he feels hes not alone?

JAMESEY,as you can see there isnt any one who could give you an honest opinion,if you decide to go this route AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY then plz post the results so we can all be enlightened and no doubt many more would consider doing it.as we are all suffering the ongoing increase in fuel,its something that we are all considering doing to help with the costs of running our cars,but personally id be S**T SCARED OF BALLSING MY CAR UP ;)

Before I read your reply - I went to Halfords and checked the Haynes manual for MK1 (I assumed it's the same for MK2) - no need to remove bearings. there isnt a Haynes Manuel for the mk2 hence you get a great forum like this one ;) :D

screaming aircon,mmmmm mine sounded like that turns out it was the clutch plate working loose and the hole on the plate became elongated luckily i obtained another compressor and my m8(mechanic(R.I.P :ph34r: .)used the new clutch plate and got my aircon working again. wipers could be the spindles have siezed up,mum will be able to tell you all about them,iirc its in the faqs in the tech section?.
