have you done a search for what your asking,over the years there has been numerous posts on the subject. didnt think these keys could be cloned?was your last car a vw?and how much did vw charge you for the cloning?

i seem to remember someone fitted new instrument cluster and found that you had to get the correct one for the car,dunno if this could be your problem?

open bonnet (engine off)grab hold of front of engine and give it a tug,if it rocks easily then as mentioned above could well be roll resrictor.

well took my car in for its mot and it passed ^_^ with flying colours :o ,not even an advisory :D . i took to 'JUST MOTS' in bexhill about 14 miles away from where i live,purley because as there title states thats all they do.so no they do not invent problems :D ,i used to take it to our local bus staition but they do not do it any more. just a big up to the guys at'JUST MOTS' very helpful and profesinol.

have you done a search on here about the problems youve got,im sure there is a fix for it somewhere on here,try searching using different variables.

could be glow plug,there is a very small thread :lol: on the forum about aux booster heaters,should tell you all you need to know :D

metal detector,or phone up your insurance company and see what they say,but no doubt you will pay the excess,but you might be able to claim for a new set of keys???

im now with privilege insurance they beat 'more then' by over 150 quid.

hows that for sods law,so sorry to hear off your troubles,as others have said make sure you haggle over the price they give you,perhaps even saying how much you have just spent on her you never know it might help?

mark do a search for horn buttons,this problem has been posted before about them comming off and im sure theres a fix for it?
