  1. We had the same. the power in our 130, will pull the towing hitch off the caravan if I'm not careful. Just had a towbar fitted
  2. My wife drives looking backwards just swivle the drivers seat!
  3. Checking the oil, it comes to halfway up the hatched area on the stick. Over the weekend the oil warning simble came on. Is this right and how much oil should be in when this light is activated? Thanks
  4. UUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM Warm BUM cold morning!!!!!!! I can't get the wife to switch it off!! Any ideas?
  5. Fog Lights on the Mk2 are not as good or bright as the Mk1!
  6. Gritty door locks are aproblem. han all mine changed under waranty on Mk1. second lock also went gritty. I just kept it well oiled and never had a problem from then on!
  7. Will do the above. Yes the speedo is working! Although the clutch is good and gear change precise. I still feel it is a little harsh and a slight clunk at times. My old galaxy with 80000 on the clock just seemed a little smoother. But then again only 90bh instead of 130. So not so much power to transmit to the road! # Also if you need to take your car in for warranty work to a Ford garage you did not purchase the car from. What do you need to confirm the warranty work to be done? E.g. just the reg documents etc?
  8. Having problems with it not wanting to engage more than it will! When it is switched on you press set and the light on the dash just goes out yet every once in a while it will engage and stay on. any info? Thanks
  9. So if I go to my ford dealer and complain will they do anything? You say there are some mods that will help? Thanks for any info.
  10. yes I wish there was a switch you could turn it off with. Of course the ticking comes in as well. I looked in the wheel arch at the back and the amount of moisture around the lining? it was dripping. Even on a long run it still seems to be on the outside air must keep it on as well! Don't think it will win many design awards!
  11. I Have an inflatable RIB boat, which I pump up with an inflator off the 12v system. This is in fact the same as a Hoover but the other way. If you get my drift. I run the pump for about 10mins to fill the chambers of the boat. I have never had a problem with draining the battery, as has been said I think it would run allot longer if needed
  12. I agree go to france on fumes come back on a wave of fule, also shop at Tesco 20 miles away get 20p a litre off you have to fill it up at that price!
  13. I still get mud and dust forming near the rear door area. I don't think they are 100% but are alot better than nothing.
  14. I still get mud and dust forming near the rear door area. I don't think they are 100% but are alot better than nothing.

  17. Now Honest John . He writes for the sun? Is that right?
  18. Mr. V as the number plate is MRV
  19. Wonder if they put them on all cars but the petrol don't use them? Must burn differant for petrol surely.
  20. One of the problems is getting used to press the right button, you can have as many positions as the knob system just takes time to figure out. From memory the knob system did not allow for every vent to be open at once eg. front window middle and floor although air seemed to creep through all. As I have said I find a sunroof very helful for clearing windows. I think that the new system is a little distracting when trying to sort it out and drive, but hopefully I will get used to the CC. The biggest down side is that you have to turn the rear heater off every time you start up, if you don't want it. Before there was a switch and controls in the back to keep off.
  21. Would it really make that much differance if the aux heater is at the rear and has to warm water that goes all the way to the front. I presume down the same pipe as the rear heater? I also would like to know if when putting de mist on on the CC is it always the case that the front screen clear comes on or is it just when its cold?
  22. I was under the impression that you can get a cd changer where you just keep feeding the CDs into the unit and they were stored behind the front dash somewhere. Well thats what the salesman said? He said it looked like a single unit from the front but ate 6 cds and played them like a changer. It was not April the 1st but then again?
  23. Just hope you don't have to put a light bulb in then you will know how female it is?   The fan speed on the CC has a mind of its own!
  24. I think you are about right with your last statement! Not to be trusted unless you know them!
