Also be careful not to try your rear wash wipe as the wiper can't move. I remember doing it one year and it took ten mins to get all the bikes and rack off to let it work so the motor did not burn out? My questoin is if I had not done this would it have burnt out? and if this happens again is it safe to leave until we get to where we are going?

Are all engines alli sumps. Eg Tdi s. Is the V6 a ford engine?and the tdis Vw. The reason I ask is I changed oil in my tdi today and sump plug was a to heavy for alli?

Most bike racks will fit. We holiday with bikes on the back towing a box on wheels with no problem. Only comment I can make is be careful the plastic coated hooks that hang the rack, have a little padding. If dirt gets under them they can scratch the old paint work. I have hung 4 bikes on my rack before now and it has been OK just a little concerned with the new shape that has the lip on the back door. All the pressure is resting on this spongy lip and I wonder how well it will hold? I also pad the bars that rest on the bar a little better as well. This helps spread the load over a greater area.

Mine 2003 with auto dim. The sensor is just under the mirror and looks like a small glass bead! Also as Nimrod says the mirror is not the same as a standard! It does go darker when headlights hit it! Was it part of an option pack?

I have a fixed towbar no problem> have you got the electrics on a bracket thats moved and could be bent back? I also have a stabalizer bracket fixed with no problem.

I have had the cable come off twice but it still would drive in 3rd and 4th. The cable needs to be forced back in as it is a ball and socket joint. and you have to take the centre consol out bit of a pig but my local man helped out. Nothing seams to phase him. That was on a mk1. not the mk2 were it is all fly by wire so I'm told.

If you put speakers in a top box you would get a good sound. Afreind has an mx5 but the headrest speakers are not great. I have thought it is about time that they out earohone plugs near the speakers so you can use personal headphones

Been around the alps in France in a 90. Had no problem and it did everything well! Looking forward to useing the 130 this year!

Question. I am sur this has been asked before but. If you turn the fan down does the air get cooler as less air is passing over the element? Does the fan control the temp? By rising and falling in speed. Or does the aircon control in temp? getting warmer and cooler? Also its a pity that you can't stop the air comming out into the front foot wells. This is an ideal way to get cool air into the back as it comes out of the rear vent. But it does make ones feet a lttle cool! I have found turning the air to feet is the best way to get the car cool?

It will make them wonder when they have to replace the cat. Which is the exaust pipe? The other problem is I hope there are no guttering issues we don't want a blockage! I notice this is on a Mk1 are Mk2's the same?

On my second galaxy only moan I have is its too good . Ford should have put some niggles in so I can complain. I see no-one has taken the bet on! I do think galantlad you are being a little un fair. the comments on this board are well spread and there are many people that have praised their Shalaxy.
