It is differant to park in car parks. Although it is not much longer than a mondeo The turning circle is not that great :angry: so you have to swing those pants a little more. :lol: You do have to be careful in tight spaces. the only problem with pallets is its a pain to get them in and out all the time? :huh:

Has the zetec got parking sensors?

Ford have allowed for this ice plunge test so the computer will not start the heater :lol: My heater has a mind of its own. You can do a good 5 miles before it comes on, even when it seems to be getting warmer. i should think it is linked to the climate controle fan. That does'nt know what to do either! B)

I woukld second that if at all possible get a ghia. We looked at a zetec. but after a little thought went for the ghia. I am suprised how much I use the Cruise Control use it ervery journey so relaxing to drive. Extras like elect back windows Cruise trip computer and so on are great! Whatever you get I think you will enjoy driving the old bus :D The TDi is so good pulling a heavy car with great MPG

Have towed with the tdi and tows like a train. The weight of the gal helps with the outfit being very stable. I think you will find the V6 fine but a little thirsty. Was there some comment about auto gear box oil getting hot? Any way of cooling it? Go in the winter may be best :blink: For your info we towed in France this year getting around 30mpg. it would pull at any speed we wanted without much effort. Just a littl slower from a standing start! ours is a 130tdi

Have fitted new blades to the new style wiper. Bit of a struggle but witha little liquid soap! will see how they go. they seem OK at the moment!

I agree and that is why I oil change more than is needed. But do VW offer this on a sharan? I do think it can be setup from delivery? If this VW is on a this type of service schedule then the Dealer was right not to change the oil?

Even if they have lost the franchise. I think they can still service the vehicle? My second point is a little differant. We have an Audi A2 with a variable service interval. this can be anything up to 2 years between services. I was under the impressoin that VW did the same type of thing? My point being make sure that you are not on this service schedule?

I can remember a mate at work the winter, saying he had to bury his daughters Guinea pig as it had gone all stiff and died. By the end of the day we had him believing they hibernate and he had buried it alive. I know were sad!

Welcome to the dark world of diesel. I too think you will be suprised how good they are. Any down side is more than out weighed by the fewer trips to the pump! I hope you can find what you want for that money you might have to pay a little more for what you want?

Could be the brake light switch. . Just wonder if it is arching and staying on. This happened to me after about 30 mins driving . On the last beast we had. Turn engine off and on at it was Ok again!

I also have the factory fitted eco tyre but mine has an R on the tyre or it sys reinforced. I will check later.
