umm so you are suddenly getting a short which blows the fuse - have you recently knocked the dimmer ? wonder about those lights in the doors - must get their power through the rubber boots - wonder if you've got a short in those wires - try manipluating the drivers door boot and try another fuse ;)

an irritating size since you need 4.5l for an oil change I'm sure formula SD is not

just go back and swap it for formula sd oil = needs to be 505.01 vw spec - its a vw engine after all

how about cleaning up the bendix/spiral track and greasing it - may just be a bit sticky/dirty

welcome to the madhouse yep - its not unknown :) if its not gone too far yet - fill them up wiyh marine grease - if it has you can start drenching in plus-gas (better than wd40 as a release agent) after a couple of years of this :lol: they will be ready to come off - maybe b*****y wimen here type too fast :lol: :lol:

friend of ours had one (had their eldest in a wheelchair so needed the space) apparently handled like an underpowered 3 seater sofa :(
