This is the same at home (with zen) and at work - wonder if its a browser issue - running ie7 here just tried with firefox - nice pics :( :(

Have you got a powered hub for the usb - may be spike/signal issues which could be masked if you used a hub - I konw you'd need an extension lead unless you have it in a garage with power :( but maybe worth a try :(

wonder if the load on the power steeering pump is greater at/near full lock which could empahasise the noise then, hence the relationship to the steering if it is he aux belt - ???

Thanx for the Heads-up, as I said we had a similar warning about 3 months ago - purely locally in mid-Beds what really annoys me is that this is just simply fraud surely on the first reporting the police should be able to act and trace the recipients of the money - if the registration of the phone number doesn't make it easy then surely a change in the procedures for setting up such numbers would not be difficult to achieve

long shot - the engine management light is often a symptom of the switch(s) on the brake pedal - a cheap possible solution would be to replace them(DIY- soe help on the forum) - this is sometimes accompanied with trouble with the brake lights (possibly intermittent) CV joint ?? There have been issues with corrosion in the loom to the autobox, additionally if the box has been off the gearbox can stress the loom (if not properly supported) and cause control problems these may produce errors like this :(

Sorry - os = operating system - look at the requirements for the vag-com software ie what version of windows probably 98 or xp

if you are using only for vag-com then you won't need any anti-virus, the os wil depend on the version of the software you are using - note some need a usb port some a serial port - older laptops may have the serial port
