  7. yes it should have cruise = if its not working then I suspect that the first thing to check is the switch on the brake pedal - may have 2 there

  11. without quite knowing why the ignition should affect it llike that I would be looking at the wires in the rubber boot between door and piller see here wonder if you have a short between wires in there (a break is just as likely)
  12. yuk - just had courtesy 54 zafira while the gal was haing some scratches removed - it as dire - clutch bite point up round my waist only had 1k on the clock - this was the 1.8iirc - there is an interesting petrol variant with 200+bhp which is more fun to drive :) :lol:

  14. happened to us the day after picking ours up - didn't know anything about this at the time so the aa man wd 40'ed the switch and it has worked or 70k miiles/4 years without trouble
  15. on the other side to the buttons put a flatbladed screwdriver into the little slot and turn - blade + horseshoe of plastic will separate from the bit with buttons
  16. we have an auto and would think that the more gentle drive would lead to build up on the blades but I have not yet managed to go into limp home mode mind you I do sometimes use the sports mode where I will not change up until it reaches 4k revs (115pd auto Ghia 92k miles)

  22. if its a gal,shazza or alhambra its on the side bulkhead near passenger left knee - under the dash as steve said
  23. There are a few people that will tell you on here that not opening the bleed nipple to wind back the piston will render the ABS U/S as any "crud" will end up travelling through the control unit. may be true but ford procedure on tis says nothing about opening bleed nipple
