  1. i dont blame you, the pics if i remember right, were awesome, wires and stuff everywhere.. hope it isnt too pricey for you.
  2. maybe its because no one knows./ has what you have. why didnt you try going back to the dealer and asking them. to be honest, you havent given people a chance, this forum isnt a waste of time, if people do not know the answer, then its pointless them posting... big kev posted a link that he thought would help. Most of us regulars dont have MKIIIs, and not everyone lives on here. Some only come on here when they have a problem!!. temper tantrums are childish and uncalled for. Adios.
  3. didnt someone on here do the job themselves? and post pics of the dashboard strip out??.. am sure they did....
  4. windscreen misting up on inside is because water is in the car.IIRC.
  5. umm..thats here.... and all is sorted i believe.
  6. Gawd, i never even saw!! sorry hun, happy birthday , hope you had a good day, and dont drink too much this eve. 3 yrs to go then the big 50!! lol.
  7. crumbs..job well done there... Must admit, it really doesnt go with the blue.sorry. But as long as yer mrs likes it i guess.....
  8. this all happened recently to me. You must as has been advised, get an undertray. I replaced the belt after skidding all over the place , but it still goes in wet weather which i discovered the other day.Im going to get an undertray as i dont have one. As long as the weather is dry, then you will be ok. but in wet, you wont.avoid puddles.
  9. aww..your welcome hun... good fun init  i would of thought, that connecting the motor to the linkage, then turning the ignition key so all electricks come on but not to start car, and the linkage will position to park position automatically. you just have to mark on the screen somehow whereabouts the arms lay before you take the whole shebang off. Anyway, glad this thread gave you the courage and confidence to do what you needed to, and well done on not breaking anything. :angry2:
  10. aye, ive had the same problem.I have sent an email to Glen... but if he replies.....Ours isnt the only forum having problems
  11. blimey, poor bloke is only trying to sell his car.lol. Anyway, my view point is: there is more than likely someone sumwhere who will pay what you are asking for, as some peeps will always think cheap is crap, and there is always sum1 who will pay over the odds even if its cheaper down the road. Just have to advertise it right, ebay, auto flamin whatchamacallit ( cant remember the name of the mag) internet places that sell cars...you want that price, then try and sell it for that price... or be willing to haggle when a prospective buyer points out every little scratch or mark when they come to view.. i like haggling :P
  12. lincoln pizza hut?? whereabouts are you??, i is in gainsborough.
  13. Lucky engine.. did i say that out loud????? oops... * retreats back to painting walls.*

  17. unfortunately, the alloys do flake badly, only way to fix is to have them redone. or...cheap alternative..... spray em with silver paint :D welcome and congrats on the gal..good choice.
  18. but i did it....... i took off the old white one, and put a chrome one on..only problem is...i put it on upside down....but i did switch off the fuse for the lights... the light does go on every now and then in me eeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.
  19. :o :o :D
  20. white.. well, white is um... different, also white cars do not hold their value, and also need washing more often, if yer gonna be carting kids, get leather depending on their age, dont get beige interior, all marks show up like a nun in a whorehouse, have a gander on the ford website, you can see all the different options open to you in regards to colour, toys etc... to be honest..i wouldnt choose white, silver maybe..but not white. They dont look right in white., oh..welcome by the way, and all of the above is my OPINION only :D
  21. ahh...well..that explains it then.... i aint got none of that..like, im trying to change a light switch and i didnt turn the lecky off. oops... welllllllllllllllll..be ok, whats the worst that can happen ?LOL
  22. you could try drying it out...but juice leaves a residue once dry...so im not too sure if its cooked, or if it can be cleaned carefully.
  23. Don't sand a table inside the house next to yer pc....or this happens...
