  1. Only joking....
  2. Didn't someone report that CD/Radio as stolen a while back ?
  3. Doesn't look like anything to do with the immobiliser. Might be airbag fault . However it could also be some lighting fault.....my money is on this.....probably interior lights
  4. Alternator not charging the battery ? You would expect big red fault on the dash if the alternator was not outputting voltage. Therefore it sounds like the connection from the alternator to the battery. What is the voltage accross the battery when the engine is running ? Has the big fuse in the battery junction block blown ? Is there a connection missing loose at the battery ?
  5. Because its better than your your old banger
  6. If I was a nice kind of person I would tell you its 950g......but I'm not so I won't.
  7. Could be battery or starter problem ........but it should still bump start. You need to check if the fuel pump is running first.
  8. This will be the same " someone" you were on Ebay buying the Viagra for then ?
  9. You should know that ......god .....how long have you been posting on here ... You been away on Holiday, seems a long time since you were here.
  10. Hi Paul, welcome ! You obviously havent found the multitude of electrical problems yet then
  11. There is no fuel getting to the engine otherwise it would fire ( its a diesel ). Either no fuel.....unlikely Faulty fuel pump....or no power to it, Relay, Fuse. No power to fuel cut off valve.....Relay, Inhibiter, Fuse. Or other very unlikely multiple fault. Try putting a direct feed to the fuel cut off valve....and try bump/jump starting it.
  12. Got to ask the obvious........is your battery fully charged. The Tdi's take a lot of battery power to turn the engine over.
  13. The common fault on these is the wires breaking where they pass from the body through to the doors. Remove the rubber gaiter and check to see if they are broken. Remember the plastic on the outside of the wire may be ok but the copper wire inside may still be faulty.
  14. That will be because the only thing Ford on yours is the badge....
  15. He's a salesman so obviously he is lying.. ;)
  16. Some pics would be nice ........ :D
  17. Faulty throttle switch on pedal. Faulty Brake Pedal switch. Mass Airflow Sensor. Dodgy Battery Take your pick !
  18. You should clearly hear the engine revs drop when the aircon is switched on the pump places a large load on the engine. If you don't hear it then the pump is not switching on.....for whatever reason. When you say all controls become faulty !......which ones exactly...do you have dual air con.....vents in roof at the back.
  19. I would think 70kg would be about the maximum. Maybe up to 75kg........cause you don't have the weight of a spare tyre..... :D
  20. I've heard of Charcoal GREY metallic. Quite common on Ford Galaxy's.
  21. Don't even think about it ...... If your car is a MK1 then it would be more cost effective to scrap it......you'll be lucky to find an auto box that works any better in a scrapyard. If you have a newish MK2 then you may be able to find an auto box from a wreck. Just my opinion.
  22. Anyone won a football that they want to swap for a rugby ball ?
  23. Hi Paul, nice to meet you. Apologies about the previous riff raff.
  24. If your missus is going to be driving it I wouldn't worry to much about the existing scratches. ;)
