I agree with your first point, there is a whole industry founded around the carbon emmission myth, these people will do everything they can to safeguard there livelihoods. The number of survivors is not stated....however as MOST died it would have been less than half. Also the total number of slaves is not stated and therefore there could still have been millions of survivors if the initial figure was greater than twice this. The issue is real but has nothing to do with carbon content increasing.....as I said before this is a scientific fact.....global warming causes carbon content to rise as the oceans get warmer they release the dissolved CO2.....easily proven as shown in the fossil records. I suppose you are going to tell me that the last ice age ended due to man's interference and hence the planet got warmer ? Never seen any cave paintings of Range Rovers... therefore I assume that they did not have any back then ! Must have been something else that caused the earth to get warmer.....let me think...I know....that big warm thing in the sky...that strangely makes the planet its current temperature in the first place.....I wonder if its heat output changed would it affect the temperature of the earth..... Front wipers...clean and degrease your spindles as in http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...pic=6863&hl ABS light on...indicates failure of ABS system...nothing to worry about just means your ABS is not working, debatable whether this is good or bad...lots of differnet opinions about ABS..however this will be an MOT fail....could be a number of things but most likely problem with sensor...check they are not caked in mud and the wiring to them is in good order...they rarely fail but a good ford mechanic will happily change them for new ones...charge you the earth and leave you with the same problem. Alarm....not familiar with the alarm on the MK2....if it has a motion detector it will probably go of if any windows are open...hopefully someone else will help you with this. Rear Washer....could be the obvious blocked or faulty water pipe...think this is the one that leaks underneath the passenger seat....alternatively could be the electrical connection...the wire tend to get broken as they pass through the offside rear frame to the door....check for voltage at pump if fitted at rear door...again not to familiar with MK2 the pump could be in the front. Auxilliary heater ......I assume you mean the external heater underneath the car...if so search the posts for booster heater lots on this...if you mean the rear heater inside then check the fuse first...cant remember which one check manual or again search the posts. Screen always foggy.......could be blocked scuttle drains...this could also affect your wipers as the motors could end up in a puddle If these are your only faults you've got a good one

Ok you want the truth.......think you can handle the truth........here it comes then. The UK government and its allies in the USA and Europe are in a panic. Recent reports over the last few years have indicated that the natural reserves of fossil fuels have been grossly underestimated. There is only a fifth available from what was originally thought. The outcome of this is that by 2010 the production of Oil and Gas will peak and decline afterwards leading to chaos and anarchy. Fuel prices will rocket and Gas and Electricity prices will rocket to ridiculously high levels, you will be able to light your home but not heat it or cook conventionally. Cars will only be for the extremely rich, people will once again become isolated communities with public transport being the only option for traveling reasonable distances. The panic has started..........if the general public find out the truth they will stockpile making matters worse. How to get people to use less fuel..." lets make fuel bad"....launch Green campaigns....everyone cares about the enviroment and the little furry animals. Global warming...been happening since the last ice age...scaaary....that should work....lets let people think they are causing it buy running cars and burning too much fuel...that will get them to cut down. The average Joe Public thinks small scale as we all do....he doesn't realise how big the Earth is....he will think his little contribution to pollution will matter. The rise in carbon emmisions cause global warmin....eh no...global warming causes the rise in carbon emmisions ( the sea gets warmer basically and releases its dissolved Carbon ...scientific fact ). Tax the hell out of anyone using what is deemed to be excess fuel......public will consent as they will think it is for the good of the planet...and as the poorer people will see this as a tax on the richer people...easy winner. Diesel fuel......vastly more ecomomical for cars.....however reserved for public transport and industry....hit it more than petrol..stop car owners using it. Right thats the western world taken care of.......big....big...problem arises. What were seen as third world countries are now starting to use fossil fuels as they develop. This can't be allowed to continue....force them to use "greener" methods....even though they are totally impractical. Get the Africans to build windfarms and use Solar fuel......your having a laugh. What about the existing reserves of Oil and Gas. North Sea Gas has already effectively run out...the previous Conservative Government converted nearly all the old coal power stations to gas to avoid being held to ransom by the miners again...the corrupt existing Labour Governement continued this practise instead of going nuclear. Fuel and especially gas has started to rocket already. We must have those reserves...where are they....mainly middle east and Eastern Europe Lets get control of the middle east reserves........got Iraq ( bad guy there easy excuse )......working on Afghanistan..( training ground for terrorists easy excuse ).... Iran next....( done nothing wrong recently....how can we find a way in ? ).

Nope its the Additional Heater ( big lump in the nearside rear interior wing, difficult to miss !) The Auxiliary Heater ( note the correct spelling ) is the modified jet engine/smoke generator/silent exhaust pipe ( delete as appropriate ) under the rear passenger door.

Sadly you are about to enter the time of the year when temperatures are constantly above 10C.... ( will be by the time you get the Gal back ) and like the rest of us TDi owners you will spend all the summer wondering if your booster heater is still working.....waiting for the joys of the first winter morning when that cloud of white smoke billows out from under your Gal in Sainsbury's car park and everyone looks at you....closely to be followed by looking out of the sunroof as you park "thinking god that planes low"......or as in your case after the Fraud Squad ( sorry Ford Mechanics) have been at it................................................nothing happens.

That is a really really bad fuel comsumption....mine would get better even if it was towing yours. Check the obvious......no-one nicking your diesel......fuel leak......neat diesel leaving exhaust

Cutting the bits out is the easy part, the cut-outs are marked in dotted lines on the back of the panels. Getting the panels off is the time consuming bit. Oh and also..dont think anyone has mentioned there are 2 different types of Load cover one for Galaxys with rear heaters and one for those without rear heaters.....they are different lengths and the nearside rear bracket is different. The vast majority are for the Gals with rear heaters.....if you dont have a rear heater be careful !
