I think Glen dopes an excellent job with this site. The layout is clear and concise and not littered with the usual rubbish you see on many websites. I would much rather have this simple easy to follow layout than something bright and jazzy that doesn't do what it is supposed to. The purpose of this site is to relate information.it does this well. The flashing glow plug light indicated a fault in the Electronic Control Circuits.........part of which is the switch on the brake pedal. If this goes faulty the electronics think you are driving with your foot on the brake and gets upset. Fixing the faulty switch will restore the electronic control circuit...hence if it has stopped flashing it will now be ok. Sometimes takes a few miles of driving for the electronics to adapt to the new switch position. I assume when you say it has stopped flashing that it has gone off and is not lit up solid ?

The old gal went in for her MOT this week. Failed on crack in Catilytic Convertor ( dont know why it needs one on a diesel )........this looks expensive ! Failed on excess play in nearside Track Rod end........bummer ! Not a happy bunny at the moment....

Microsoft have stopped supporting Winxp service pack1 and 1a . With the release of Vista I believe they will give WinXP service pack2 until the end of 2008 and then stop supporting it. It would be best to upgrade sometime before then. Best not to upgrade to Vista just yet....wait for the first service pack to fix the bugs ! Obviously if you were buying a new PC or doing a serious upgrade then it would be better to have Vista than WinXP
