  2. The red block will always be there as it cannot be defragmented by defrag. However hopefully pagedefrag will have defragmented it. Does the defrag report state how defragmented this file is ? p.s notice the use of two frag's in every sentence perhaps these need defragged also.

  6. I thought they did .......aren't the 150bhp and the 130bhp just the ordinary 115bhp engine that have been chipped ?
  7. All of the Diesels ( even the 90BHP ) will pull a caravan better than the 2.0l. The 2.0l was a mistake..they used a readily available ford engine but it wasn't up to the job of moving the Galaxy alone never mind towing a caravan. The 2.3l gave substantially more power and returned the same if not better fuel economy. The 2.0l was dumped when the MK2 came out.
  8. I would ignore the relays...it sounds like your battery is flat. The diesel engines take a bit of turning over.........either trickle charge your battery overnight or find a pair of decent jump leads and a friend or neighbour ( with a car ).
  9. Its not your windows swap file (paging file ) is it ? If so disable it, run defrag then re-enable it.

  12. Yep that is the flexible pipe that you clamp and that is the bleed nipple ( under the rubber dustcap ).

  14. Very nice article. The Galaxy MK1 and MK2 Diesel is actually a VW Sharan with a couple of Ford badges and trims stuck on therefore the article is extremely relevant.

  17. Sounds electrical...prossible dodgy relay cutting power to the spark plugs. Unless you have been buying water...sorry I meant petrol... from Tesco's.
  18. I think I would buy new discs for that.......only twenty odd quid on ebay complet with pads
  19. I would be suspicious of the Ignition Relay ( 130 or 103 cant remember which but is bottom right ) This relay controls the fuel cut-off valve.....which obviously is locking on and also controls the main ECU.
  20. Hope the smoke isn't the turbo going ! Its not just some resistors in a box is it ?

  23. Its your windows registry ( or at least the main part of it ). You can't do anything with it because it is in use. Leave it alone or your PC will get upset and die.
