Sorry Forgot to say its a Mklll 2013 model Titanium

Hi I have got a stone stuck in the rear nearside seat "runner", which means the seat is jammed and wont slide forwards. I guess the best thing to do is remove the seat and fish out the stone Can someone give me a guide as to how to remove the seat, and if hex bolts need to be undone, what size are these? Thanks

Had a test drive in the new facelift 2015 model 150bhp Diesel Found the ride a bit "bouncier" than my current 163bhp diesel.. Some nice touches on the interior and the dashboard generally feels good Dont particularly like that all controls are now through the touchscreen panel on the dashboard, rather than being able to twiddle a knob or two (heater control on mine) Might go and get another test drive, or try to get one for a couple of days to test. Overall a new modernised look, with the same flexibility as the Gal has always had 8 /10

Over the last couple of months, both the rear doors on my 2013 Titanium Gal, seem to have developed a problem. The problem is that when you open them, it feels like they are catching against something, or the hinge has dropped slightly, as you get a sort of "clunk" noise, and the door doesn't open smoothly but with a slight jolt Difficult to describe really, but just wondered if anyone else has had this problem??

Hi Ron The loan of the Kuga unfortunately didn't happen for various reasons, but i still hope to get one to try in the next few weeks I did let the guy drive my Gal, and he also experienced the slight "lag" on acceleration, but said he felt that all the Ford "euro 5" engines suffered this He checked for any software updates for mine, but said that it was at the current software version. So, it is a "feature" at present, TBC

I have a front and rear set that i bought about 3 months ago, but havn't got round to doing them yet. The instructions are with both sets.

Hi Scorpio I don't really experience any other problems apart from the "lag" that i have described. Not had any problems re "power surge" and havn't actually stalled the car since the first week i had it.. The Dealer principal of the Ford dealership i use is a personal friend, and next week he is loaning me a Kuga for a couple of days, and he is having my Galaxy Interesting to see if he experiences the "lag" problem, and what he suggests I will keep you in touch Cheers Dave

Over the last few weeks, i have noticed that when i am accelerating (3rd and 4th gears usually) there is a brief "lag" as the speed is building. It lasts probably less than a second, and then the power feeds equally, but it is a strange feeling (however it doesn't happen every time) The car has now done 12,500 miles and is due for its first service (163ps TDI, Titanium, Manual) The car was first registered Aug 2013, so just interested to know if there has been a software update since this time, that may help, or fix the issue. Or, is this another Galaxy "feature" that is well known about?? Cheers

Hi Think you are a bit confused. If you press the "lock" button on the key fob ONCE, the doors will lock, but the indicators will not flash. If you press the "lock" button TWICE within 3 seconds of each other, this "double locks" all doors and the boot, and the indicators DO flash The indicators will always flas when you open the car. Page 38 of the manual, if you have one Cheers

I have had 2 Mkll's and now 2 Mklll's and certainly prefer the Mklll overall. I have the Titanium 2.0 TDI 170PS and find this to be superior to the 140ps i had previously The Ford bluetooth and voice activated functions are superior than many other cars including my neighbours 2012 Mercedes ML350, which by comparison to my Gal is like the Anglia to the Capri. i also have the Seat Pack and find this very useful. I chose mine with the Panoramic roof, although during the winter months have kept the roof blinds closed. I suppose when the Sun does finally come out, i will go for full Sun exposure. I also purchased a 17" full size Titanium wheel and tyre, and keep this in the garage at home just in case of a puncture. I have experienced one puncture so far on my previous Gal, and whilst i tried to use the gunk and compressor to provide a "get me home", it was about as useful as T**s on a Nun!! In future i will get recovery out to get me home, then put the spare wheel on Cheers

Managed to blow the Cigarette lighter fuse in my 2013 Gal, so decided to change it. Got my fuses out that i used last time in my 2010 Gal, and they are different now The new ones are small little fuses, as opposed to the "standard" larger fuse that the 2010 model used Anyway, managed to get the central fuse box unclipped from under the glove box, and remove and replace the 20A fuse as shown in the Car Manual. The manual does say that a "fuse puller" is located in the engine fuse box, but i looked for it for ages, and cant see one for the life of me Anyone had a look, or found a "fuse puller" on the newer Gal's?

Hi Scooper Some interesting comments re the 2010 model, as my old 140ps Powershift model did display a number of the points you raise. I feel that my new one 163ps Manual, (now done 7,000 miles) still has a very slight "lag" when gently pulling away in 3rd gear, although this is not a constant. The initial "engine stalling" quirk, has not happened for a while, so dont really see this as a problem now. Tyres are interesting as i run mine at 38PSI all round, and feel the handling (17", NOT run flats) is better at this pressure.. MPG is still around 43mpg yesterday on a 150 mile journey via A roads and Motorways Overall very happy with it cheers Dave

Hi Bobby I am interested in fitting these lights to my Gal (see my earlier post) Can you let me know how the lights actually fit to the car?? According to the picture i posted they fit under the fog lights, but do you need to drill holes to screw the lights in?? Any photos you have and could be post would also be of interest Many thanks
