  1. No, as I don't do old phones. I get the latest model as an upgrade, it will cost about
  2. Well let's put it this way. My current model of mobile is selling second hand on eBay for
  3. Ah, so it is about what the kids can get, not the school then?
  4. That is correct, it is as when you are sat behind the steering wheel, the patients left side doctor, not yours!
  5. Fully loaded: Your vehicle All-New Ford Galaxy 5-door MPV Ghia 2.0 TDCi 140PS 6 Speed Manual Base price
  6. If you can give more info on the warning light we may be able to help locate the problem on that. It can be as simple as the brake light switch, but that does not normally cause a loss of power though. Start a new thread and ask with more detailed info.
  7. They are all made in SEAT's factory in Portugal, some Ford versions have Ford engines. And Ford badges. And um, that is about it. All TDi variants are all VAG bar the badges. The 2.8 V6 is the same, all VAG.
  8. Worn bores will not cause low oil pressure. Not ever. Worn mains or big end shells will though. But I agree, it could be faulty wiring or switch, or pressure relief valve, which is why the advice I have constantly given is to fit a gauge and read the pressure off properly. Or get someone to do it for him. But he would sooner keep buying parts....
  9. It is the blue one on the filter housing. Get a guage and take the sensor out, put the guage on and test the pressure. The oil in my truck was at 110C last night by the way.
  10. 7M8 is a MK1 Sharan, 7M9 is a MK2 7V8 is a MK1 Bammer, 7V9 a MK2. The engine designation is something like AFN ANU
  11. In the winter it is worth making sure it works, I would not bother at the moment though. The best way to make it work is to take the connector of the back of the switch and put a mini fuse in it's place. It will always come on then if the coolant is below 75 degrees and the engine is running. EDIT: Does the later model have the switch on the wiper linkage, I can't see it on the parts catalogue!
  12. IIRC the one Sanj is trying to remove uses a pair of flat keys into slots at the sides, just inside the bezel.
  13. The benefit is that the engine and heating will warm up quicker. Other than that there is not much benefit. It is purely a comfort item. And the manual is wrong, it only comes on if both the conditions are true, temperature below 5 degrees (later models are 10 degrees) and coolant below 75 degrees.
  14. That is the right number for a MAF, but not for a year 2000 model. Unfortunately without searching through the whole parts catalogue I can't tell you what it is actually for..... But I can tell you that it costs
  15. Cleaning and tiding MO4 is fine with, technical stuff has to wait......
  16. It looks like the cartridge has been changed. Perhaps for the wrong one then bodged?
  17. Ok, come over here, listen and I will whisper something... Your Galaxy is really a SEAT Alhambra, made in Portugal with Ford badges and grille on it, but keep it quiet OK, otherwise everyone will realise that the Sharan is too and then they will want to know why the Alhambra is 20% cheaper for the same thing! Yes that's right your Ford is realy a VAG....
  18. They are the wrong screws holding the sensor into the MAF so it is likely it has been a problem and been tampered with to try to repair it!
  19. Not yet, but I need to do a service in a few hundred miles, so it won't be long!
  20. No that is the temperature switch clipped to the wiper linkange and it is in front of the pollen filter.
  21. It is easy enough. If the one I had ordered from Driveshaftparts.co.uk had arrived I would have done a photo article about it, however more than a month later, no CV joint that I have paid for!
  22. The belt never needs changed, it has a chain, not a belt. Perhaps it is the axillary drive belt you are meaning. The service schedule simply says that it is to be checked for wear and tensioned or changed if necessary. The rupture sounds like the sump gasket, the seller should be able to fix this no problems, the air-con is likely just a re-gas is needed.
  23. 1. Trolly jack under the wishbone mounting point, It is hard metal. 2. Yes, it is strongly recommended you do it that way 3. Push. 4. No Idea, but I don't think the brakes are any different on any of the models that year.
