ive got a mk 2 sharan 115 tdi 6 speed and when driving at 50mph or above it sounds as the drivers wheel is droning just like a wheel bearing noise , also when going round sharp right hand bends i get a slight knocking noise and i can feel it in the steering somthing dosnt feel right at all , ive jacked it up and checked for play in the driveshaft and the wheel on both sides of the car and they all feel fine , what do you think?? does the wheel wobble if the bearing is kapput or not??

ive took the mk2 visors off and i cant feel or see any plug , i wonder if its tucked away somewhere else

hi ive got a mk 1 alhambra on the drive and its fully loaded with all the optianal extras , like lights on the sun visors and under dash lights just little bits like that , now my mk 2 vw sharan has the holes for the under dash lights and the sunvisors fit no probs , my issue is will the vw have all the wiring in so i can just plug these bits in , if so im going the put all the little features off my alhambra onto my vw

hi i have a vw sharan mk2 and frankley im dissapointed with the ice set up it has a beta tape deck and a 6 disc front loader , basiclly the sound is crap so ive taken it out and fitted my mp3 sony headunit , crancked the volume up and that sounds crap aswell not like in my mk 1 alhambra. ive unplugged the headunit speaker wires and noticed there is only 4 wires going to the vws iso fitting , so i have all 4 speakers from the front outputs if that makes sence , also it resets everytime i turn the ignition off , i didnt need an iso lead as the sharans loom just plugged straght into my sony set up , what can i do to get 4 speaker working on the head unit properly , has anyone else suffered with this , thanks

ive just bought a mk2 sharan and my mk1 seat has got a towbar on it , its a proper ford towbar , i wondered if this would fit my sharan???

my sharan only has the single din cassette radio (gamma) at the mo , so you reckon it should just plug in , i do have a double din slot its used as a trayt at the mo

i can see the cable end hanging off its the top one on the box under the battery tray , if i pop it back on whats the best to use to keep it on has anyone had any success with a tie wrap , im going to cornwall twice this year and would dred it to go down therer

ive got a 1997 sat and today the miss broke down in it i rang my mate and he said check the linkage , i took the battery out and started taking the tray out i took the 4 bolts out and wham the engine nearly fell out , anyway long story short ,one of the linkage cables has come off , is this an easy fix or not to change a cable or is it just a case of putting it back , i cant really see down to the cable area without removing everything , bloody car im sick of car repairs this week :P

hi ive got a seat alhambra 1997 tdi and when i lock it remotly or with the key the hazzards dont flash , they only flash when the alarm id going off????? my 2000 sharan did

sorry i have replaced the worn belt and i havent got any under tray on the car and never have done , when cold and i start it up and turn to pull away from the kerb it wont turn at all i have to rock the steering then its ok , but last night it did it on an island near where i live it was raining hard aswell , does anyone have a spare engine cover to sell me??

ive noticed over a few monthe when i start the 1997 alhambra ahu tdi , i cant turn the steering wheel it seems to lock , it then gets over that and is normal , the other day i was doing the front pads and i noticed the pas belt on the side of the engine had nearly snapped and was only held on by the core of the belt , now yesterday i was driving in the rain and came to an island i pulled onto it and tried to turn round it and the steering wheel locked up , the belt is tentioned up ok could it be a worn pulley or could it be somthing seizing up , i really need to sort this as i carry my kids in this car :huh:

no ive checked all that , ive sat inside the car and the drivers lock mech makes a noise when remotly locking but doesnt actually lock , there must be a alarm sensor on this door as when the lock locks itself it triggers the alarm to activate , a new lock me thinks

somtimes it works in reverse , ill lock it and the drivers door unlocks , and if i unlock it the drivers door locks , but most of the time it does nothing , the led on the alarm doesnt light up like it did last night

just to add now to confusion ive gone to fill up and the diesel flap is locked , ive had to lock and unlock the alhambra several times to get it to open

hi ive come to press to unlock my alhambra 1997 mk1 on the key fob and all 3 doors opened except the drivers door but when i pull and pull at the door handle it works its way open , also when i used to lock it remotly it used to flash the led on the door , but now it doesnt and just the 3 doors lock not the drivers door. even when i lock it with the key i can pull the handle vigourusly and it eventually opens , it cant be the wires on the door cause there new ive just had new door wiring , i think its somthing with the lock and alarm mech , is there a sensor somwhere and yes the alarm still works when its locked and i pull the drivers door open , im stumped :ph34r:

cheers matey ill alter that , im torn weather or not to keep it and do it up myself
