hi ive got a ford galaxy with the 6000 cd that has broken , is there a ford car radio that will fit with no messing about , id like a mp3 player to fit if poss , mines a 6 speaker system

its come back from the garage and it didnt do it with the mechanic , typical. he ugged it into the machine and it came up 3 faults , a cam sensor error a manafold sensor and flame out thats the aux heater glow plug. the faults didnt come back so dont know what to do now , he said try it and if anything happens ring him.

hi im back with a new galaxy not a auto this time thank god ha ha , ive got a 2002 115 tdi 6 speed its just had the clutch and dmf done aswell but on driving it home from the garage it lost power and would not go over 3000 rpm for some reason , i turned the engine off and started again and it was fine with plenty of power but then 2 miles on it did it again ,there is no engine light on with this fault either , the garage is having a look tommorow as ive got a 3 months warenty with it. any advise would be great , dont know if its me but when i rev it from cold i can hear the turbo fluttering??

Best to get a quote from an autobox specialist for comparison. this is the best in sheffield , "mr gearbox ltd" , he has a good rep??

just took it to the garage this morning and hes diagnoised its being the valve body control and all the soilinoids , to supply and fit im looking at

just a thought , cause both faults occured at the same time , how much are the boxes under the seat??

ive disconnected my fried box under the seat because of the water issue (fixed now) , all i had trouble with was the sensors in the bumpers beeping all the time , what else does the box do?? , everything elae works , my mk 1 alhambra had the central locking under there and alarm but thats ok?????has it anything to do with the auto box in any way???

ill ask tommorow , thats the least of my worries with the auto box wanting work aswell , the box i mention does it in any way have anything to do with the autobox??

hi ive taken the box apart under the passenger seat and it was fried , ive now lost my parking sensors , are they controled from here????? , where the best place to get one from??

had it plugged in to vag -com today and there was loads of gearbox faults , tip selector , and a few other things , they all erased ok , but driving it around today when i put it into drive from neutral it goes in rough not smooth like it did , i turned the engine off and turned back on and it was fine then??? not rough going into drive , its as though its a sensor or somthing , i did notice a motor noise coming from the front of the gearbox area without the engine running. with the roughness coming back i took it for another vag com and only 2 faults came back up there was an engine temp sensor coolant and a auto box oil temp fault , it was reading 27deg it seemed all ok?? the fault/part was a G93 and thats inside the box its

do you know what type of atf fluid to put in it , the reason i ask is we have loads at work , its all quality stuff aswell???

If you're lucky the gearbox is low on oil. I think I seen your car the other day.......pic below yes your right big kev , it feels like that i bought it on saturday from a private seller so ive got no come backs there which one is the top up hole , and is the same hole where you level check it???there so many different ones on here .

ive only had the car a week and already im jinxed yet again its been fine all week but last night it had a parking sensor error and the door allarm light was flashing whilst i was driving , ive checked under the passenger seat and yes its soaked and yes the control box is ruined (corroded) nothe parking sensors dont work but also last night my wife was driving and it was a bit rough going through the auto box i put it down to her shoes , this morning ive taken it 20 miles and its been fine but then tonight i drove over a mini island and the box went BANG into another gear , i slowed down but it kept doing it every time it changed up and down the gears in drive , what can it be? ive been told of some solinoids and is there any common faults with and joints or drive shafts on auto also what about the engine stabalised underneath could it be that , its too dark to look tonight it did feel like a gearbox problem , i had to put it into 2nd and limp home , now im just really dis heartened nothing ever goes right for me with cars :)

3. I had this problem, i take it your getting the swishing noise from the footwell when you are using your back windscreen wiper. That was what was wrong with mine. there is a join in the feeder pipe to the rear windscreen wash behing the plastic at the passenger door. these are really bad for either coming apart or loose. ive stripped the carpet back today and yes it had come apart the under carpet liner was soaked and the module under the seat was all green corroded inside , ive cleaned it up the best i can and put cloths under the carpet , the parking sensors dont seem to work properly now , what does this module actually control???

did you sort the flashing light , mine doing that.

this has happened to me today , ive just bought this galaxy its a 2003 tdi auto and first i noticed the parking sensor light on the dash flickering and they wernt working as they shoud , then whilst driving home from work i noticed the alarm light in my door was flashing like mad , , beleve it or not i treid my rear washer and all i could hear was wter under the passenger seat squirting , i hope i havent done any major damage , is there any workings under there for the alarm.and is the rear washer a easy fix??

Wouldn't the mp3 facility do away with needing a cd changer. Anyhow the Ford 6000MP3 should do the job yes ive seen these , theres only 1 on ebay and its a grey one , they seem to be hard to come by??do you have one

E2 (E20) is laser read error - the disk is in but it can't lock onto it - normally a good clean of the lense sorts it out. ok thanks , it did work till i skipped to the next disc , but as ive only just bought this car the last owner might have never used it who knows??

i put some discs into my multi changer and they worked till i put cd number 5 on and i got a e2 error , now i cant play any , ive tried taking thecartrige out and putting it back in , i cant get anything now? does anyone know what it means
