hi ive a funny feeling that my new galaxy has got a passenger drive shaft on its way out , when i put it into drive it surges forward , and ive had a sharan manual that had a drive shaft go so i just thought id come on here and see if the autos are still prone , how can i check it??

will this fit a SONY CD/MP3,, MODEL C307/C214/MP3/RDS out of the 06 on mondeo??? are the plugs the same??

hi ive got a 2003 galaxy mk 2 and its got a ford 5000 rds cassette/radio and its got a 6 disc multi changer (ford) im wanting to take the the crappy head unit out but still use the cd changer , is there a ford head unit that will play mp3s AND connect up to my ford cd changer?????? what model headunit will do this??

hi ive just sold my sharan 6 speed and bought a galaxy auto , the sharan had a few faults with it like flywheel noise, aux heater inop , a/c inop , new brakes needed all round , wheel bearing noisy , and a engine light fault it was the accelarator position sensor , so really it would have cost me a fortune to fix , instead ive sold it for

Try JVC or Sony although there are a million and one others out there. I think the issue of not catching on is a general DAB radio one.....it doesn't offer any real advantage over analogue. look at revo dab units , there like a nokia parrot they just wire into the cars original radio

hi kev its a 2003 mk 2 sharan , theres no faults in the memory ive had them read today.it just doesnt run at all

ive found my booster heater that doesnt run , all i want to know is if the glow plug is duff in it will the booster still run (make the sound) im going for the glow plug potion first.

if the glow plug is duff will the heater still make the noise like a jet engine??

so what your saying if the glow plug is duff the heater wont run?????

Have you not noticed it's Cold outside ! Radiotwo get away i thought it was hot :angry: , my temp gauge goes up to 90deg then whilst frrwheeling down hils like i do somtimes it goes back down to 0 , this isnt right.

my sharan is cold cold cold i noticed it getting warm on a short run and when its free wheeling down hills the temp gauge goes back down to 0 ive bought a proper genuine thermostat and fitted it and it still does the same , it seems to take 10 miles to get hot up to 90 deg , the heaters are ok when it gets there , what can this be??

i noticed the other day in the cold weather when i started my sharan 115 pd engined car up to clear the screens and that off , there was a very very slight grinding noise on tick over coming from underneath , mine is a 6 speed model 2003 plate , are these prone for anything . i had a 1.8T mk1 sharan before this and it had a similar noise that was the flywheel that had gone on that so i got rid quick , i just hope its not that again , like i say you can hardly hear it , also its had 2 new wheel bearings on the front because i had a droning sound but now its come back 6 months later , it might be related who knows??

ive got a 03 plate sharan with a worn rubber steering wheel , ive seen some alhambras and passats with the same wheel but wondered if the centre spline is the same , i know a alhambra would be , just wondered about the passat steering wheel , i could get a leather one then

hi last week on the way down to cornwall i went to accelarate and the sharan just cut out altogether , i was doing 80mph and the dash beeped at me and said "engine workshop" , it was at tick over and i tried to accelarate but in wasnt responding at all , when i went into the breakdown lane the revs were at 1200 rpm and i could not rev it at all i rang my mate and he said turn it off and back on again i did this and it was fine till not and that was 500 miles ago what do you think this could be , its being read on weds

who would i take mine to for such a repair , mine has the same pipe and it has an airline crack in it letting out the gas , the crack is very visable to the touch , who would ally weld it?? vw want

my 03 plate has got a airline cracked pipe on the compressor , surley this isnt right , can we get vw ford and seat to repair this , my old l reg mondeo was much better a/c wise

i bought the 115 tdi vw sharan 4 weeks or more ago with full history but the belt hadnt been stamped in the book so i rand hull vw up and she said yes it had been done about 80k i said can you send me a proof please so she said yes no probs , its now done 127k , she didnt sent the proof so i rang again and she said it hadnt had a timing belt just a alt belt , me and my vw mate did it yesterday and it was litterally ready to break i was so lucky <_< the clips on the engine we took off were at the back , my vw mate said looks like its never had one in 127k , alls sweet now for the cornwall run , (apart from the a/c , but arnt they all)

are they a set of 2 or can i just get the big pipe from the comp to the joint on the inner wing , vw quoted me a fortune + vat so if anyone knows of any that might be cheaper let me know , how much are foreds , i think there the same on the gal??
