I have a 125 ps S-Max diesel which is the same engine. I haven't noticed any problems starting but have noticed you have to give it a bit of 'wellie' first time when pulling away or its likely to stall. After that first time it runs sweet as a nut.

Lots of previous threads on this subject. When I had my Visteon DVD I did a lot of searches and could find nothing anywhere to make it multi region. I dont think the unit is sophisticated enough to make changes.

We've been there in the past for 3 years in a row when the kids were younger. Never been the Caen route though. Always used the tunnel and never found any problems driving there. We also always stayed in the Disney Davy crocket ranch. Best for self catering and the best swimming pool. One thing to watch on the motorways. If you need to stop for a loo break, try to use the proper service stations and not a rest area. My daughter and wife had a fit at a rest area when they saw that the 'Ladies' loo was just a hole in the ground. Very funny but not nice if you are a 'Lady'. ;)

Maz Only joking about girls playing men's sports. My own daughter is actually at the Arsenal ladies football academy (not bad considering we are all Spurs supporters) and she is a very good player. Always been very sporty and can hold her own if she plays football with the boys.

I am on the scrounge. Has anyone got any celebrity voices for TomTOm 910 they want to share. I have a few I can swap but I suspect that most people have them anyway. Slightly off topic I know, but how nice to see one of SA INTRUDER's early posts. I can remember when I first joined the forum he seemed to be on here a lot and I do miss his 'straight to the point' posts whilst taking no prisoners or making friends. You always got good information from him. I seem to remember that he disappeared off into the wilds of France. :(

I have just bought a Citroen Saxo for my daughter as her first car (god forbid). The only problem we have with it is that we dont have the radio code . I managed to knock his price down for this and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find this without going to Citroen. I remember this was mentioned for Ford cars a while back that people had the software etc to find the codes. It is a 2000 Saxo 1.1 lx. Many thanks

Been round it a few times in the past at different times of the year and day. Always a bit busy and you can never tell especially with the French having holidays at wierd times. If you pick the wrong weekend it can be a nightmare. Best thing to do is check if that is potenially a busy French weekend i.e. bank holiday etc. If not you should be ok at that time.

How much will you be getting then Maz ? Enough to pay them off and a little bit over? I know its easy to say, but keep your chin up as I went through a similar senario in the past with the finnance people etc. and I'm sure it will work out in the end. Maz That was just to give you an idea. I nearly used them but went to a Ford garage instead. Why dont you give it a quick makeover (except the bumper) and try a Ford garage. Nothing to lose.

I was just going to let them have it back but found out it was worth a lot more than 8k and in the end I got 11.5k trade in against the S-max. The garage paid the 8k owing on the finance and I had 3.5 k deposit straight away. Tiny is dead right in what he is saying i.e. if you sell to a garage, they should pay the finance off for you so no HPI check problems and you could come out of it with a few bob in your pocket. dave

Hi Paul know you've got a lot on your plate at the moment but couldn't help noticing that you had been quoted

MO4 have you thought about maybe selling the Gal to a trader or private. You may get enough to pay off the 4K owing and have a bit in your pocket after depending on whats its worth. Just a thought.
