  1. hi there I not sure if this is any help but i had a similar problem what it turned out to be is a small metal plate by one of the motors underneath the seat had split and as u moved the seat a little it cought on it again for a short while. You need to take the seat compltely out to find this and looik carefully. Dont forget to disconnect your battery for a good while if you are going too
  2. thx i may have a butchers on e bay never give that a thought as regards cleaning it has got a hole in the one footwell so replacement is only option thx again :lol:
  3. hi there pps i have a mondeo mk 2 ghia looks nice but the carpet inside is in a bad way to say the least. I would liike to purchase a new one but ford dont do them anymore and from a breakers they r gonna be as bad. Any help appreciated. :16:
  4. hi there ppl i have a 97 mondeo ghia with the all electric front drivers seat but it moves up slightly like it is loose if i mes with the switches for a bit it goes tight again for a short while then back to loose. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance <_<
  5. hi there i have a mondeo 97 2ltr ghia i have purchased a trip computer for it thinking it was just a straight swop over from the clock. I have since found out i need a outside temp sensor unless i already have one and it isnt working. I have found out i need a litle more wiring to be done aswell. it is wired from the clock as i have the seven wire loom but there is some underbonnet wiring to be done for mpg etc can anyone explain to me where from and to. Many thanks in advance :rolleyes:

  7. hi all i have a mk 2 mondeo with remote central locking and the o/s rear door does not lock of it i did change the mechanism for another second hand one and it was ok for a bit but now it doesnt work again it is only on the one door. thanks in advance Jaguar
  8. hi scooby stu they are quite a bit awkward depends on the size of your fingers lol. You can sometimes get your hand behind the lamps but it easier to do it as they say in ford handbook. Remove the 2 screwson top of the radiator grill and lift it out remove the screw that is furthest back and loosen the screwe tyhat is foremost on the light assembly depress the locking tab and remove the light. Unplug the light remove the clip on the back of the light and remove the cover. Or if u have slim hands you can do it with the light in situ difficult on battery side though. tc n good luck
