if I worked Marketing I'd explain that "Dead Bulb" is a feature and if you would like to speak to our tech support dept? Well, they have an exact copy of your bulb here and it seems to be working OK. Can you be more specific about the exact problem? we could how ever send out one of our service technicians to change the bulb? he will replace your bulb, but! there is that

You can keep the radio, but get the Iphone, you'll wonder how you survived without it! the first couple days after getting mine I hated it! but now it never leaves my hand, I use it for everything, sat nav routeing, email, surfing the net while at work, playing music, as a bike computer that logs my routes via the gps software and it will soon replace my tomtom now that they have release the Tomtom software for the I phone the only down side to it is the camera, no zoom unless you by an app that digitally zooms for you and no flash, but the pictures it takes are ok considering, the other bad points are not being able to send or recieve stuff via the blue tooth link to other phones, and the constant piss take by those who dont have one! ohh look he has an Iphone ...... sad nerd! but when they need to find the nearest shop, look up a price on a web site, find out where exactly they left their car? oh no they love it then and its the best thing ever and they cant wait to get one

Ford Galaxy - Easy To Get Into?
mk2vr6 replied to christine78's topic in Questions about the Ford Galaxy
the entrance to the load area is fairly low! if you remove the rear two seats and stick in a full height dog guard, she should be ok? if you lean her on the edge, lay her back down and then roll her in :D there are a couple of tie down points in the boot if you wish to stop her rolling about? this from the man who works in the mobilty industry ;) -

water vapour that gathers on the condensor, there is a drain on the engine bay firewall, a small rubber nipple like thing! known to block! then the water drips into the car! so its a good sign thats its dripping under the car ;) just reach up under the car when you get a chance? if its up on the ramps and give the drain a tweak! stop the slits sticking together and sealing the drain! -

the book says to tighten the nuts to 35 Nm, it says nothing about doing the bolts up :( but then the pictures show three nuts and bolts in the flange that hold the cat to the down pipe, so I'd go with nuts and bolts ......possibly :)

Central Locking Crack
mk2vr6 replied to BLUELIGHT's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
OK THANKS CYBORG I WILL HAVE A LOOK AT THAT dont bother all you most likely find is the control box for the reverseing sensors :( your is an 02 model so the central locking ecu is deep within the main fuse panel and no thats not how to program remotes -
next question as Galaxy's dont have fan belts you must mean the aux drive belt? in that case on the majority of models there is an auto adjuster so there is no need for you to do it! but on the off chance that yours is one of the models that doesnt auto adjust? give us a hint to the model, year and engine type  and we'll get back to you

Sorry Another Remote Key Fob Question
mk2vr6 replied to Becki's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
the central locking when operated from the remote gets its signal from the main ECU possibly under the passenger seat? but when operated via the key in the door, from a switch on the lock mech, sounds like you have a problem with the loom in the door! usual place is the loom beween the door and the A post your remote system is possibly the early (97) I/R system which isnt known for its reliability or range! and IIRC? there are two batterys in the remote -
Sorry Another Remote Key Fob Question
mk2vr6 replied to Becki's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
first off forget the remote problem, sort out why the central locking isnt working from either the drivers or passenger front door? is it the correct key? once your in the car can you lock the doors from the inside by operating the door release handle? -
