Mk111 Clutch Slipping
mk2vr6 replied to romanron's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
I use mine daily to get to addresses all over the midlands (northants, oxfordshire, cambridgeshire, staffordshire, b'ham, east anglia, hampshire, hertfordshire and where ever else the silly cow in the office decides is the midlands!) it doesnt take a genius to work out that the route that its chosen for you isnt suitable! especially when you know the limits and size of your vehicle! it amazes me how many idiots follow the sat nav instructions given to them and then kick off and blame it when they go up a one way street the wrong way or get their 40 ton petrol tanker stuck on a ditch on a road clearly not fit to take a hand cart yet alone a petrol tanker, and then there was that stupid person that complained that his tomtom put his families life at risk when it took it them along a cliff top road! when it said turn left along cliff top road he must have though hello cliff top road thats a pretty name I wonder why its called that? at that point we should have nutured him and stopped him from reproduceing any more idiots :D -

actually the sat nav has no part in the blame, it only did what you asked of it, it suggested the shortest route, it didnt hold a gun to your head and force you take it, you the idiot behind the wheel with half a brain who told it which route HE wanted to take did, the reason your clutch is slipping is purely down to the poor choices made by YOU it pisses me off when idiots like you pass the blame onto an inanimate object of which you control the the parameters for, in helping it make the choice of route, especially as it doesnt know that your dragging a plastic shed behind you! but hey you probably never knew that also as you sound like the sort of pratt who wouldnt use his mirrors? well in this case you didnt or you would have seen the large plastic object strapped to the back of your car and thought hey! maybe this route being suggested to me isnt a good idea! or maybe not....... I await the flaming..........................bring it on :D -
Dont forget all the ECU's looms and sensors you'll need to remove, bypass, replace as well! hit the breakers and look for another slush box, is yours that far beyond repair?

V6 Spark Plug/ht Lead Removal Tool
mk2vr6 replied to geoffandjen's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
the water pump can be replaced without dropping the engine! you only need to remove the engine mount bolts on that side and lift the engine to gain enough room to remove the pump -
V6 Spark Plug/ht Lead Removal Tool
mk2vr6 replied to geoffandjen's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
vw vr6 plug lead tool as used by you can also pick up a plasic version from most good VW dealers or a rather expensive but will last you a lifetime stainless steel version from snap on as for the coil pack if its failing or arching out between the posts then yes replace it -
she's still about, I'll tell her you all miss her next time we chat

I think you are starting to mellow with age  what ever she tells you? its all lies! believe none of it, she's on medication and cant be trusted :P

ok... caps on is the equivelent of shouting, its classed as rude and bad mannered to do so unless your trying to make a point? text talk is also classed as rude on many forums and will get the urine ripped out of you in certain circles unless your twelve years old ;) and as for being bitchy :P you dont wanna go there I have a reputation on here for being far far worse than bitchy! rude, damn right rude, sarcastic, did I mention rude? and I have been known to reduce some members/admin to tears on a good day :P I hold the record on here for being banned more times than most members have posted on here
-
no! its never a good idea to cut down springs! the rears are shaped to fit in the mounts, as are the fronts, so no its not a good idea! hit ebay and pick up a set of lowering springs and do the job properly or not at all! and turn off the caps its not BIG and its not clever
-
By that I assume you mean the front drivers door switch? Then yes Radiotwo No put the key in the drivers door lock, twist it to lock the car and hold it against the stop, the windows should now all close? and if you twist the key to unlock and hold againt the stops they open! oooh magic! :D
-
NO its only one circuit switched/controlled from several locations, has she tried using the global closure function?
-
not only that but the paste can polute and damage the cat if any of it breaks off and gets in there!
