All operating errors and faults found are stored in the control module and can be read out using diagnostic equipment and used in problem solving. whether or not you can get vag com to link up to heater unit is another question?

well considering that if you hit the parts list for the 96/7 Sharan there are thirty different coil springs listed for the rear end and four shockers! all depending on vehicle spec? rear heater, dual ac, number of child seats..... so the Sharan rear shocks may not suit the 2.3?
