iirc that is why even on sky you get bbc 1 free,because if you didnt the bbc corparation wouldnt get sod all in revenue. got you by the short and curlies .

search on flea bay,ask sellers who are breaking gals/alhambras and sharans or even if you have the wedge buy a new 1.

Questions, questions...... :lol: ;):lol:;):lol: aw c,mon seat kid its been ages since weve had this come up yet again.its about time it reared its ugly head. people. apart from the booster heater,i think this must come pretty much near the top for topics that have been covered :lol: and the only difference is the price of derv.but the claims of mpg have basically stayed the same. the best i had out of my tdi was 59,9 and even when i sold it 2 weeks ago it showed 54 mpg.ok the speed was averaging about 50mph but it is acheivable quite simply by reading the road ahead of you,even round town i was getting anything up to 40 mpg,personally i think its bloody good that a near on 2 tonne car can get those sort of figures. wish my lexus would do anything like those figures,but boy is it fun to drive.:D

could be wrong? but im sure this was a common problem on the mk 1s dunno how far back you will be able to search,im sure it was a simple fix?

with a calculator ;) 1.40 / 10 * 65 * 4.545 My original remark was tongue in cheek (for the slow among us :lol: ) If you were nipping around town - your mpg is OK If you were pushing 80mph down the motorway - your mpg is OK If you were towing a caravan up hill - your mpg is OK If you were doing 50mph on a Sunday afternnon drive in the country - your mprg is not brilliant Air bubbles in the fuel pipe dont affect consumption - its normal to se a few small ones - they are often drawn in around the T piece on the fuel filter due to poorly sealing O ring. Easiest ways to improve the mpg is to pump your tyres up hard and drive a bit gentler. blimey m8,you getting mellow in your old age? ;) was hopeing for a good ole debate on derv fuel. just like the good old days :lol:

seat kid,why not ask for a working opinion by posting on the citreon part of the forums,that way no doubt you should get the answer your looking for?

er dean ive got a set in my garage

dean is it the drivers door? you may find that the cable has over run,and stripped the plastic spool thats housed within the the regulator/motor. this then breaks the clamps on the window itself. you can buy the repair kit from ebay or obtain a new regulator, general concensus on here is that the mk 1 and mk 2 regulator frame is of differing sixes,but i got hold of a mk 1 and stripped the parts and used them to reapir my 1,which was a mk 2. come to think of it i may have 1 sitting in my garage

yes i do have a pair for sale, pm me,ive now sold my gal so will have a few bits up for grabs.
