  6. nik i agree about the dog mess,i allways take plastic bags with me when i exercise my dog,we rescued her about 9 years ago(white g.s.d)who is very protective towards my 3 boys but i CANNOT AND WILL NOT 100% TRUST HER.
  7. steve i agree that there should still be a licence for dogs ASLONG IT IS KEPT to a resonable ammount, and maybe include some form of public liability insurance, you hear quite often of dogs being mauled by other bigger dogs because the idiot owners have let them off of the lead and have no control over them.and also to cover attacks on people, but lets face facts sometimes you hear or read that children have been left with a dog by itself and the dog has attacked the child straight away you feel extremely sorry for the child but you also have to think what has the child done to make the dog attack the only thing a dog has is to use its teeth.

  16. not a forces car by any chance?
  17. as i said new consumer unit connected to crap wiring,so what your saying is there not going to do anything about it then, there probaly put in another(higher rated trip fuse)and tell you to run extension cables up the stairs :P doesnt the m.o.d have to ensure that the houses you live in are of adquate condition?.
  18. i think ur right wolfie,i seem to remember watching that on how its made on the discovery channel very enlightening(no pun intended) ;)

  20. certificate soz i was having a steve wright moment there ;)
  21. landlords have to check on the gas appliances every year and a certicate issued, but dont think the electrics need to be checked yearly,i know mine havnt in the 2 years ive been in this house, the only thing now is that any new installation is carried out by a competent or approved electrical engineer and anything new done in a kitchen or bathroon then they must have part p.
  22. no leave the lights on your only flicking the trip to the upstairs sockets thats all, UNLESS THATS THE PROBLEM POWER AND LIGHTING OFF OF ONE FUSE ;)
  23. what about the fiat multipla? ;)
  24. phone up and scream at em that its unsafe because youve got kids, you say one of the sockets has charred?without anything plugged into it sounds dogey to me,i do know that the new consumer units are extremly sensitive(no doubt its the orriginal wireing)and they replaced the fuse board and left the old wireing,so if theres a problem it will keep tripping, mine does when a bulb blows.
