i apologize for hi-jacking this thread,i have posted in the puma forum but as this forum is a lot busier im also posting here,as i think this might be the same. my mum owns a 1.4 puma and she says that every time she takes her foot off the accelerator the car starts to shake,could it be the c.v joints?any info much appreciated.

PINK WAFER :) i would hedge a bet M8 that you should use the vw settings,when the chap done my car he used all different settings just to make sure nothing untoward had been recorded.but he was using professional diagnostic software.

try ebay or im sure you can fit an after market central locking kit(again from ebay)im sure it has been mentioned on this forum somewhere,do a search on central locking,it might take a while to trawl through them all but im sure you will find the answers there,hth.

i agree with silver mk2,when i had an accident in 1990,it took 6 months to sort out and i was told that was them being QUICK,and the reason it was quick was i needed 1300 quids worth of dental work done,and that was with legal fee's cover since then i always have gone fully comp(with the main car)and always with legal cover with out it insurance companys will drag there heels for ever. if you havnt got legal cover on your car insurance have a check to see if you might have it with your household insurance?if so give them a call.

threaten them with the sale of goods act and unless they rectify the problems you will be rejecting the car,do not wait to long to do this iirc you have 28 days to notify them.

my missus timed it today and said it stopped after approx 1 minute,so thanx for the replys guys, OH WAS I A HAPPY BUNNY THIS MORNING,thick frost on the car and within a few minutes i had HEAT in the car,halfway to work had to turn the heater down coz the car was bloody hot,amazing how much it heats the car up,before it took an absolute age to get any warm air blowing in the car.
