Try a breaker on ebay or i think its called parts gateway on the net. If you want new try Gsf they might be able to help you might find them locally or on the net. Nearly forgot try vw sometimes they are cheaper than ford for the same part.

Wiper And Aircon Problem In One
stevie m replied to Busman's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
I lost my wipers once the lead leading to the small black fuse box (located near the battery) and to the Alternator was damaged inside. This lead got very hot whilst the car was running. It caused the box to melt inside and one of the leads began to arc. Once i replace the box and the lead everything was fine. I'm sure it has been posted on here many times. -

If i needed one i would go to gsf (german swedish french) they would give you a good price on one. I wouldn't go for used, you don't know what you are getting. I hope in some way i have helped. -
Welcome Helmit... keep reading the post and i'll look forward to reading yours when you post them. Hope the car serves you well.

You don't have remote unlocking ? What type is your gal MK2 ? When i left my key in my gal too long when my remote played up my windows went down. Then if i locked the door with the key and held it too long they went back up as they should.

If it slips it's fuct. :13: and if it makes a tapping noise on start up which goes when engine is revved. It's fcuked ! Oh forgot to say the tapping noise can come back when idling and may go when clutch is depressed.

I use to drive my gal about 1000 miles aweek when i owned it a mix of motorway and urban. The dmf never use to slip allthough after 3 years of this mileage the dmf needed to be replaced (170000 miles tho). I bought a brand new one for

Hi Al. I haven't got a galaxy now but i have heard that gals are great towing motors. I have a caravan and i tow it with a volvo. Mine is a fleetwood. It's a few years old but it's a twin axle and it feels stable to tow. So if it was me i would lean towards the twin axle bailey. What ever you buy i hope it gives you many happy holidays. Steve

Petrol In A Diesel
stevie m replied to twindecks's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
I got an idea :o . You could always put a sign on the side of the gal and leave the fuel cap off and say help yourself. I'm sure someone out there will drain it for free :D . -
Try ebay and ask breakers on there. I would think that to go to frauds would be expensive.

stevie m replied to mumof4's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Could you get these from GSF ? Might be good to give um a ring (If you have a local branch) They delivered to me when i coudn't get there. -
I have an aftermarket undertray that i bought from ebay. It's poor quality. I bought it before i sold the gal. I never got round to fitting it on mine. I kept the the old broken one so i could swap the soundproofing over. Yep your right Maz they are heavy when they have a bit of oil on them. Makes a nice anament to step over in my garage  .
