  3. If it's a uk car it will be a 115 if new at first registration
  4. Hi GARRYMOSSLEY By "curved ones" do you mean blades that look as if they are made of one piece ie: they dont have the usual multiple framework of pressed components connecting to the main blade ? When lifted away from the screen,"curved ones" almost double back on themselves.... rather like a figure C with the ends removed if you cut it in half :o
  5. YES that is correct The AC is not a very high demand on the belt, and the fuel injector pump no longer exists! The fuel is pressurised up to "somewhere around the tappets" in a way that is unique to the PUMPE DEUCE engine....you need special PD oil for this engine, and pending the actual build date of your car, your cambelt change interval will be 40,000 miles, as opposed to wifey's 60,000
  6. did somebody mention woodwork? :P

  10. IIRC the "caps" problem was that they let in water dripping from above?
  11. :) DUNNY,your gal is old enough to find ample suppliers of aftermarket discs and pads, just be sure to get them for "alloy" (16") rather than steels (15") :) Also note that the front pads CAN just be pushed in, and the discs are also a doddle to change...a single screw locates the disc to the hub, rather than the wheel bearings found on some vehicles They're only fully held in place when the wheels are bolted on
  12. :) Where's the rest of this thread gorn? :) anyway it looks like we may be getting a member from their fold http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/i...st=0#entry51359
  13. :) Would those bubbles be rising through the fluid, or merely displaced air escaping past a wet seal of the cap and producing bubbles? :)
  14. :P I get problems in that department too :D :) daylight or otherwise :)

  20. I cant help with any local knowledge, MK1 galaxy had 60,000 mile cambelt interval My first Mk 2 gal still had a 60,000 mile cambelt change interval The change to 40,000 miles replacement came when ford commenced their 3 year warranty....so you payed for it....(about mid 01, I think) Although it MAY be feasible that the newer PD engine places greater strain on the belt....ANYBODY comment on that? I say "MAY" because the older engines injector pump Probably also ran off the cambelt
