  1. I'll nominate mumof4, she's always here, has a sense of humour and isn't easily offended. I beleive she will be very fair and just in her moderation. Regards - John
  2. And another vote for MM from rebel john! It's a crying shame it's taken so long though, is it possible on this forum software for mod / admin to group email everyone, if it is sending an email to all members announcing who the moderator is and why we have a mod may bring some of the departee's back. Regards - John
  3. I'd agee 100%, thats why I'm starting an alternative forum. I have tried to get the owner to agree to appoint a moderator but so far I haven't had a reply. I feel this current forum is failing and it's demise is imminent, many good people have left because of personal insult etc. Having a laugh is one thing, these goings on are totally different. Regards - John
  4. Thank you for your very kind remarks, your contributions to this forum are so constructive and helpful. Regards - John
  5. No, not looking for a row just doubted I had ever been derogatory to you before and your total lack of 'evidence' sort of proves what I thought. As to you being grown up, I'm sure many of the other will have formed an opinion about that and come to a conclusion that differs significantly from yours. Don't worry, you can soon have this forum all to yourself and even then you'll probably fall out with it's only member :D Regards - JB
  6. Okay Marcus, you say I've been rude to you before, when and where? I was putting forward genuine concerns about the ability of the Gal to put the power down onto the road, suggesting that it may be better to put down efficiently what power you already have instead of losing it in wheelspin etc. Assuming you can get the power down is the Gal the right vehicle for this? do passengers appreciate being thrown around etc. You started the ffs, referring to my points as drivel, going on about my 1 spooling mistok and being generally derogatory, I never once made comment about your suggestions. So there's the challenge, where was I rude to you before?
  7. Really, this is the first bit that got personal and it seems to have come from someone with the same name as you. Not an issue any more, you'll see why later!
  8. Oh well it was nice on here while it lasted, I'm not staying round here to be insulted by tw*ts like this. Time to start another forum with a moderator. Tara - JB
  9. Either drop a wire off the clutch or pull the relay out. Regards - JB
  10. Whats it got to do with you? ( ) you only started the thread, we answered all of your questions fully and now we're having a nice social chat and a drink at the virtual bar (by the way its YOUR round).
  11. sorry Jb..you had the aft tou yourselves...im back for now!! :D :D Good on yer, welcome back
  12. But what stage in a mans love life are you :D
  13. A few bits of advice for anyone going down the wedding path:- Three stages of a mans love life:- 1) Tri Weekly 2) Try Weekly 3) Try weakly What three words enter the brides mind when she walks into church? What do they call the pathway in church between the pew? Aisle What do you call the area you walk up to? Altar What do you call a song sung in church? Hymn Aisle - Altar - Hymn You should go into marriage with your eyes wide open and then keep them half closed for ever more. Final bit of advice, 3 sentences the man should remeber to guarantee a happy marriage, it's worked for me for the last 26 years:- 1) You're right 2) I'm wrong 3) I love you. regards - JB
  14. mof4, you have classic symptoms of a virus. Get your virus software up to date and do a full system scan, decreasing virtual memory can be the virus itself infecting everything as it goes. In summary:- 1) Antivirus up to date and full system scan 2) Spybot search and destroy to get rid of spyware 3) Adaware to get rid of the rest of the undesireable's Do all of that and that should get your system back up and running properly, it may of course take a while and thus the rest of us will be able to get a few words in on here. Good luck, Regards - JB
  15. But what do you use the ashtray for ? Mines a moneybox !
  16. Still YUK
  17. I beleive one is used to stop fuelling the engine when braking, both need to be working correctly or you normally get the flashing glow plug light. Regards - JB
  18. Glad you're up and running. Regards - JB
  19. I agree that the location could be much better BUT I have found with mine a simply don't need to adjust it. It stays pretty much on 21 deg winter and summer. Winter time I get nice warm air, summer time it's nice and cool. Good luck, keep us posted how you get on. Regards - John
  20. It sounds like the imobiliser, whats happening on the led in the drivers door? Try unlocking with another key or unlocking via the door lock rather than the remote. Regards - John
  21. Get the pukka Ford one. The pattern ones have been tried and failed by many people on here. Go for the genuine part and it'll be fine. Regards - JB
  22. I have to disagree with you, when set to high, non of the air is cooled, the compressor is doing little / no work dependent on engine options (petrol have a clutch, diesels have a variable vane). In winter time the evaporator is used chilled to dehumidify the air, extra heat being added to negate the effects of cooling. Once the humidity has fallen the compressor will shutdown as above. -Regards - JB
  23. Hi, Mine has the 'horrible digital control panel' and a) I like it, B) it works well ! I think you must have a fault, if I select the face level vents on the HDCP (Horrible Digital Control Panel) after a few seconds (vanes moving) I get good airflow either heated or cooled as required. Sounds like you have a dodgy vane / motor or HDCP. Regards - JB
  24. Are you saying that is has dual climate control or that you have aircon?
