This year ours has started to zap me :D ;) when I grab the edge of the door when getting out, haven't noticed it before, the only way you are going to get a shock is if you have developed a potential difference(voltage) between you and the metal shell of the car usually by friction - I've tried touching the metal interior before I get out but it still happens so the conclusion I've come to is that the clothes I am wearing charge up by friction as I slide across the seat, what does work is, opening the door grabbing the top of it then sliding out - remembering to do this is the problem. I'm still investigating the problem :D :D An alternative explanation is that the car has developed a voltage wrt the road and I am the 'wire' its discharging through but this should only happen if you are wearing conductive shoes and you are the first person out. :D :D

. as is mine with WEP, most secure at the moment seems to be Mac filtering + WAP, even Mac filtering can be broken by mac spoofing - although I couldn't tell you how :D

40k miles - they reduced the milage from 60k  Re-gas may sort out the problem

Power Supply To Central Dash-top Storage Bin
NikpV replied to Joshua's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Did this last weekend for a gps unit  What I did take out storage box = 3 torx screws, on the rhs at the back there is a hole (about 3 in total) - this one goes right down behind the fascia above the pedals. tied nut to string, poked into hole with screw driver (hole takes a right angled turn) and jiggled until it appeared above pedals. Taped power supply wire toi string and carefully jiggled back up. I cut a small slot (width of the cable) just in front of the hinge mechanism on the rhs where the ?money holder slot is? Screwed top box back in plug into ciggy lighter Done  ps hole is quite small just big enough for y shaped power connector - 6mm thick,15mm wide and 25mm long. I wanted to be able to remove it easily in future so didn't wnt to make it too permanent. -
well took - 10mins to change maf and tap the rubbish out of the aircleaner (mainly insects) old maf and new maf looked identical - no contamination - sensor nice and shiny on both :P oh well. Up a reasonable incline from a standstill to a marked post no maf = 70s old maf 40 s new maf ..... 20s Wow what a difference , now have acceleration between 60-70 :( Given there was no real difference between the two sensors (no oil dirt contamination) do the sensors age/become less efficient over time? Thanks to all those who convinced me it doesn't just fail :D PS - after a quick wipe over the old one looked just like the new - for an unscrupulous person it would be easy to sell this on as new on ebay  box endcaps and all

Wife ordered one yesterday from local fraud dealer - to be picked up monday

I think that when the windows are closed via global closing - ie from ouside of the car the safety stop is disabled (detected by current in the window motors) so global closing using the remote could be potentially hazardous - if you have the key in the lock presumably you can see all the windows and any obstructions. The remote may be activated whilst in your pocket accidently  - thats why the car will relock after 30 sec if you don't open a door.

If it was real he'll have grooves   down both sides

thanks but ntl not available ADSL is available in your area Your exchange is also enabled for ADSL Max services According to BT Wholesale, your line should be able to support a 6.5Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max. Standard ADSL RAG results: You can receive 2Mbps ADSL You can receive 1Mbps ADSL You can receive 512Kbps ADSL You can receive 256Kbps ADSL ohh 6.5Mps - looks like it might be Zen - 5 day lead time only one month contract only downside is a 20Gb/month - best estimate of current usage between 8 & 12Gb , static ip address(up to 8), newsgroup access, 1 Gb webspace
