well..its now on 280k files scanned....when my avg scans,,it does 87k!! ah, just finished no virus at 283k files on c drive. im still non the wiser!! :D hardly surprising - the cleanest pc ever :D we can probably start along the road to find out what the problem (see my post, glens and bd's earlier) but you will have be prepared to risk doing it - risk being you may lose internet access while you are doing it. I might be a bit easier for folks if you could tell us what car, age etc. Could add to your signature line (look in your profile) Given that they appeared to stop working at different times I would start by checking the fuses one by one - tedious but cheap, wonder if one of the two brake light switches on the brake pedal is u/s (depends on the model i think) Something nagging at me wants to know whether adjustable door mirrors are working can't quite place it - maybe a fuse problem (possibly a recent post). If it was a recent post somebody will be along to tell us. (Having said that the nagging is probably the wife) :rolleyes:

umm the odd hiccup seems to be appearing - this turned up after I viewed new post in the index it appeared as a new post today in the thread itself ? it only shows the post from yesterday seems a bit out of step :rolleyes:

normally ghia comes with autochanger at least mkII does. Should be able to fit the sony with a loom adapter

This error message can be caused by a whole raft of problems, virus, overheating, hard disk problems, bad ram timing, ram going bad, windows swap file problems. Since you are getting the error regularly and have so warning due to the clicking try and get the first number when it happens. Error usually means that data read from the swap file is not valid for one of the above reasons. Does it happen after your pc has been running for a while or is the time random. Unless you left your pc running overnight I would rule out overheating unless your processor fan sometimes doesnt start. could do with more info to diagnose

i did put the error message!!!!! KERNEL-DATA-INPAGE-ERROR usually get an error number like 0x0000ce after it though

how about some details for the exact error message - not just a rough translation could then google for it - get some idea that way - or post it somebody may recognise it :( :(

just do it once - clear out old data - may also be worth deleteing cookies set by this site - from index page

redundant wording I was implying that most of what halfrauds sell - at least round here is ICE products and appears to be getting worse. Other examples would be 'lonely isolation' they mean the same thing so one is redundant

did it give a file name with the error - incidently mine did yesterday happens occasionally - don't get too bent out of shape unless it starts happening regularly

no problem with links here - using ie6 (yuk) how many have you tried what error message do you get, might be worth deleting the site cookies (index page at the bottom) also try rightclicking on the link and selecting - open in new window

in car entertainment even halfrauds stock this kind of thing, although I wouldn't describe them as a ICE shop - tautology :(

I see your point - I don't use that feature so didn't notice - may be worth clicking on the mark all posts read button and see if it works properly as peeps add posts - may be a artifact of the upgrade :(
