Had a look in Halfords and they have got the usuall ones, Pioneer,Kenwood,Alpine etc etc but couldnt decide as to which was the best. I dont want to spend a fortune, about

Has anyone tried the new paperless toilet yet. My wife gave it a go and said it was so good she didnt know whether she was coming or going.

Thanks for the replies folks (grumpy old farts included) Pushing the two buttons together done the trick. I think i must have pushed them whilst cleaning the inside the other day. That will teach me not to clean it. Adrian.

Before i bought the Ally i looked at a 20004 Sharan and that didnt have one fitted either. Adrian. -
Dont hold me to this but i seem to remember reading somewhere that some heaters kick in at 10 degrees and other at 5. Depends which model you have. As i said dont hold me to this, i may have had too much cheese before i went to bed one night. Adrian.

Its always the way. Like a lot of things with this country the needy seem to go without. A few years ago my parents next door neighbour was on invalidity benifit and made no secret of it. He would drive up to the doctors and park his car in the disabled space and then struggle into the docs on TWO walking sticks. He would then drive back home, drag his caravan up to the back of his car by hand and sod off in it for a nice holiday. Beggers belief dont it. Adrian.

Can I Move My Radio.
adrianf. replied to adrianf.'s topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Yup it was dead easy, just a case of swapping the two over as Steve pointed out. I even managed to fit the kids DVD player in the storage compartment to save it getting knocked about under the seats. Looks like i managed to knock a wire off from the back of the stereo tho cos the multi changed has stopped working. O well a job for the morning i guess. Adrian. -

Well i know this is not the correct way of doing things but ive just come back from france and whilst there done quite a lot of night driving without any beam deflectors and didnt get flashed once. Maybe i was just lucky but i would probably go again without any and just carry a roll of tape in the boot like i did this time. Adrian.

Check to make sure the air filter housing is clipped together correctly. Checked my filter a few weeks ago and didnt put it back together correctly and had the same sound as you. Adrian.

Hi Steve, thanks for the info on the stereo. Had a feeling i could be swapped but diddnt want to start taking things apart without someones opinion on the job. Nah keeping the factory rims (for now  ) as they look good and the tyres are like new. cheers Adrian. -
We didnt go the Calais route, we went from Portsmouth to Caen. The service stations along the A13 were all about 1.20 - 1.25 euros so a bit dearer on that route.

Well to be honest with you i didnt find much difference in price where i happened to notice. I think wifey worked it out on her calculator to be about 91p ish a litre as i can get it at out local Asda for about 95p. So yes it was a bit cheaper but i cant say it was worth messing about with. The small fact that it was bitter cold outside and i didnt want to leave my nice warm heated seat had nothing to do with it you understand.

Well im back in one piece from Euro Disney. We all had a fab time and the kids thought it was great. It was quite busy but it was half term. Driving through Paris in the rush hour was an experience to say the least. We went in a three car convoy with other family members but only the lead car had any directions so trying to stay together was a joke (very bad planning) but we made it. Coming back through Paris yesterday morning rush hour one of the other cars had a close shave. He changed lanes but didn
