Can I Use My Bulbs ?
adrianf. replied to adrianf.'s topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
To be honest the bulbs in question i have used before in the Gal i used to own with no problems at all. I had every intention of putting them in the Ally until someone warned me about over loading the system . I had them in the Gal for over a year so i sort of answered my own question before i asked it really but just wanted some opinions on it first. I bought the bulbs from Halfrauds for about -

Ok guys here we go I have a set of slightly higher wattage headlight bulbs that i wish to fit to the Ally. It says on the box that the switches and wiring etc must be a minimum of 20 amp to safely use these bulbs. Has anyone got a clue as to whether or not it is 20 amp or how could i find out. Im sure somebody on here must have a clue as its all double dutch to me Cheers Adrian.

Looking For Good Condition Mkii
adrianf. replied to Littlematt_2007's topic in General Discussion and Nonsense
well i think its down to the best deal you can get cos as you know they are all the same. Used to have a Gal Ghia TDI but now have an Alhambra SE TDI. Very little difference really but the Seat has a few extra bits here and there like heated seats & leccy folding mirrors. The ride is a bit sportier as they have a sports set up but to be honest on a car this size and weight its still not what i would call sporty but it does have less roll in the corners than the Gal. I wouldnt worry about which one to get, just look for the best deal -
No not at all. Check you old invoice to see how much they charged for parts Had mine done last week and IIRC the belt kit cost about

I had the timing belt changed today on the Ally. I hadnt used the garage before but it came recomended to me. Dropped the car off last night so they could start on it first thing this morning. At 10.20am my mobile rings and its the garage calling to say its all finished. So going by that service i will use them again As far as the cost goes it was never going to be a cheap job They charged 3 hours labour @

53 1.9tdi Auto - Climate Display Flashing.
adrianf. replied to Herts Hammer's topic in Trainee member help
When i bought the Alhambra i took out an extended warranty at great cost. A week after the purchase i noticed the air con was not as cold as it should have been so i got them to fix it as the fault was there when i purchased the car but i did not use my warranty to fix it. So in other words they fixed it on the basic 3 month warranty that was with the car. -
We had the sad news last wednesday that my wifes grandad had died. He was a lovely old man who my wife was very close to. He was 85 and passed away peaceully. The funeral is going to be a week on Tuesday and we are not sure yet how we are going to cope with it. I have been asked to be a bearer to help carry the coffin into church which is something i have never done before or looking foward to but will do it as its what nan wants. The worst bit is nan has asked my wife to do a reading at the service. Its something she want to do but gets tearfull just thinking about it and hasnt a clue how she will manage it on the day without breaking down. Im just wondering if anyone has any experience at this sort of thing or got any good tips at how to get through it. Sorry to be so morbid but just looking for a bit of help really. Adrian.

I understand what you are saying but Please believe me when i say just leave it. I know someone who went down this road before and wished they hadnt bothered. Just stick to calling him all the names under the sun, but not too loud. Just a couple of days ago i watched as one put his lights and sirens on to get through a conjested roundabout in rush hour. Once out the other side he turned them off again. Not sure but didnt think they were allowed to do that. -
Wasnt the Dolly a 16v but running off a single cam? One set of valves working on a rocker assembly off the cam or am i talking carp again I remember when i was a wee nipper dad used to have a stag but was converted to the Rover V8 Seemed more reliable than the standard engine but didnt do much for the resale value due to not being a standard car.

READ BEFORE CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW There are two identical pictures that will appear on the screen. Almost 8,000 people were tested to see if they could find the 3 differences in the two pictures and only 19 found all 3. See how observant you are. If you find all 3, you're one of very few people who are able to do this. http://members.home.nl/saen/Special/Zoeken.swf Good luck Adrian
